Services
Bright Kidz Preschool is a privately-owned child care center since 2013 that serves the Middletown and neighboring communities from infancy to Pre-K. Our dedicated and experienced staff are devoted to children of all ages at our Preschool. Our staff is certified in CPR, first aid, and the Creative Curriculum.
Our Infant Program provides a warm and welcoming environment where your infant can grow. We personalize care based on each child's unique schedule and special attention. Our caregivers are trained to create a "home away from home" environment and meaningful partnership with parents. We focus on creating experiences and opportunities that invite exploration and support the rapid and important development that occurs during a child's first year.
The Waddler classroom supports young children's growing sense of self-awareness by introducing challenging activities and language development. With these new experiences, our Waddlers better relate to the world around them. At this age, children are extremely curious. Our program encourages them to explore and discover.
Our Prepper program works to encourage self- esteem during one-on-one time and in-group activities. The creative curriculum recognizes that everyone has the capacity to learn in different ways. Here at Bright Kidz Preschool every child is unique and we believe that success and growth come from encouragement and praise.
Our Preschool program provides children with the tools necessary to develop educational skills needed for a successful transition into Pre-kindergarten and for life. Language and literacy along with math concepts and social studies are introduced to secure ideas and maintain interests. At Bright Kidz Preschool our creative curriculum is packed with many educational elements while having a fun time.

I wrote a review before when we started using Bright Kidz, we loved the school and sent both of our kids there. One for 3 years and the other for two. We always had a great experience there until....
Our son just graduated pre-k from there and we were all set to send our daughter back for a third year. Unfortunately, when we asked about her going back in September and her not being there for the summer we were told that they can't hold a spot for her, and there were already people on a list to get in.
After going there for 3 years, referring friends who also brought their children there

Nowadays with all the fears and frustration as a parent during Covid-19 and making the tough decision about sending our child back to daycare, I felt it was really important to write this review for other parents. I'm really surprised by some of the reviews on here, and therefore felt it even more important to express how wonderful Bright Kidz has been for my daughter. My daughter started at Bright Kidz back in December when she was 7 months old. I toured every daycare in the area before I decided on Bright Kidz, and some I even went back to two or three times to make sure I gave every place

As new parents my wife and I were nervous to send our daughter to full time daycare. We toured a few and never felt quite comfortable with the facilities or curriculum until we got to Bright Kidz. The moment we brought our daughter to check it out she immediately felt comfortable with the other kids and teachers in the “waddlers” room (she just turned 1). She started just a few months before COVID struck so just as she was in her hitting her stride everything came to a hault.

Let's be serious, every daycare gets bombed by a bad review or two from a parent, but I will tell you that this place is tremendous. We had left to go to another daycare (Bright Kidz couldn't reserve a spot for us for the next year as we had pulled our child out for the summer). WIthin 2 weeks at the other daycare center, we brought our 2 children back to Bright Kidz. It wasn't that the other place was bad - it's that bright kids is SO GOOD.
My wife has a masters in Early Childhood education, has a license to run a daycare, and has run gigantic afterschool programs so we know our stuff.

I'm going to be honest, I was a little hesitant at first to consider Bright Kidz due to a few unfavorable reviews. I tend to dwell on imperfections, but decided to tour the school anyways since it was right down the street from my house. After previously visiting a half a dozen other places I was so glad I decided to go because I really like the school. I instantaneously fell in love with it even more after I saw how happy my children were there! Education is extremely important to our family especially since I have been teaching for 16 years. I cannot say enough amazing things about this daycare!! They are always super accommodating and take such great care of my little girl. She loves going to school here and always brightens up to see her teachers, friends and the rest of the staff. My favorite part of this daycare is the curriculum they have even for babies and they are constantly teaching my daughter new things I highly recommend this daycare!

This daycare is awful. The only room I would recommend is the infant room. The lead teacher there is amazing. The rest of the rooms are dirty. The staff is like a revolving door. When you leave a message, you hardly get a call back. There hasn't been a steady director there in months. There hasn't been a pre school teacher there in months. They use "fill in bodies" in the pre school room. This could all be proven by other parents who I know. The owners are cold hearted and only care about money. I pulled my child from this school. He now has a nanny. Please do not make the same

My two sons have attended Bright Kidz since they were babies. They are currently in the Preschool and Pre-K rooms. I cannot say enough good things about this school.
Leaving your children in the hands of someone else is never easy. The teachers at Bright Kidz though are so compassionate, patient, and loving and they make it a lot easier to do so. It's also amazing how much my sons have learned over the years. The curriculum that Bright Kidz follows is great, and it really gets the children interested in learning. Our boys come home at night excited to tell us about what they learned.

The owners/managent are very unprofessional. Very selective with their enrollments. Discriminative to people.
In my case dealing with them (after they bought Cambridge academy that my son was enrolled at) they weren’t prompt to fallow up back with availability for my two years old son. Yet constant assurance to fallow up was promised and never given. Frustratrsiting experience dealing with them. Unethical owners and center director.
Would not recommend if you value trustworthy experience as a parent.

My Oldest who is about to turn 4 has been going to Bright Kidz since 18 months old and my newborn just started 3 weeks ago. I love the new location since they took over Cambridge academy. The bulding feels new and clean with bright colors in the classroom and a very happy, creative environment. Their outdoor space is excellent for the kids! Plenty of room and nice and private. As always, the staff is so loving and caring with my children. They truly bond with their teachers. My daughters attend this daycare. The directors and teachers are fabulous! The teachers really care about our children and are personally invested in their success. When one of my daughters was having a tough adjustment, the teachers and directors were there to support her every step of the way. My daughters love their teachers. The girls even named their baby dolls at home after them because they love them so much! In addition to the awesome staff, the daycare has great extension opportunities like Soccer Shots, dance, yoga, and Fun Bus that my kids love! The parent community is great.

My son has never been to daycare and he is about to turn 2. The first week he started he was crying everyday and now he is so happy and doesn't want to go home when I pick him up. This place is awesome. They actually have a curriculum for children so they're not just watching TV all day or playing with toys. They actually learn and they go outside where its fully fenced in to enjoy the outdoors on the playground . I would highly recommend sending your child here , the teachers treat the children as their own and they send you a progress report everyday of what your child did, what time they took

I have 2 children currently enrolled all year, with another who attended the summer camp this past year. I absolutely love it! My kids ask to stay when I pick them up. They also send homework home for my 3yr old son! The old preschool I used did not send home homework, nor did any daycare that my friends/family have used said they did either. Its a very spacious and clean environment and the staff, well I cant begin to describe how nice, caring and involved they are with my children's education. I have no issues and no complaints. Highly Recommended

The most important endorsement I can make is to say that both of my children attend Bright Kidz Preschool and Daycare. The staff and administration are caring, considerate and responsive. The owners continue to make improvements to the school. I know that my children are in good hands and are being properly prepared for their future. I recommend Bright Kidz without reservation!
