Barbara (director) is absolutely amazing!! You can tell she has the best interest of the kids in mind. Her teachers are the best and my son has learned so much in the time he has been there so far!! Would definitely recommend!

My wife and I had a wonderful experience at Ivy Hill, it really made us upset that we had to take our daughter out of the school because we are moving out of the area. Barbara runs an amazing school, all of the children are respectful and engaged. Barbara and the teachers were very envolved in the development of our child. Dropping our daughter off at ivy hill was like leaving her with a family. I cannot recomend this daycare/preschool enough and my wife and I as first time parents are beyond satisfied with our experience.

I feel so comfortable and at ease when I drop my child off at Ivy Hill each day. The teachers are so compassionate and attentive to each and every child. Miss Barbara is very organized, and accommodating to all. She makes sure to really get to know you and your child. You can rest assure your child will be in a safe, loving, and nurturing environment. It should be important to a parent that their child enters the school with a smile each day, and leaves at the end of the day with a smile. Your child will do just that at Ivy Hill!

Our son was at Ivy Hill for about 7 months and he loved it there. Barbara is wonderful and the staff is just as great. I felt extremely comfortable dropping off my child every day and he enjoyed it very much. Unfortunately due to work and timing reasons, we had to switch daycares but we were all very sad to leave.I am confident in saying that the environment at Ivy Hill is comfortable, loving and safe.

Our son has been going to Ivy Hill since he has been 6 months old and is now leaving to start kindergarten. We have always been satisfied with the care and attention that has been given to us. The director has created an environment where children are comfortable to learn and supported personal values of kindness, respect and honesty as well as social values such as helping others in need. The teachers are caring, communication is good and we always knew our son was safe at school. I was always amazed by how well the staff knew my son, his likes and dislikes and how sweet all of the children have

This school is a joke! The teacher turnover is high and the teachers are average at best. The owner/director is a bully herself. She thinks that she is the dictator at the school. If you challenge her on anything she becomes patronizing and condescending! She does not communicate effectively.
I decided to change to a different school after hurricane Sandy because she thought it was ok to charge parents when the school was closed, "it's in my policy" was her answer when asked why? She charged some parents full price and took money off of others bill. Then, asked those parents to lie if anyone asked

My Granddaughter started at Ivy Hill Preschool at 4 months old. She is now 14 months old and this morning she walked in and put her arms out to be picked up and hugged by Selma, her care giver, with a big smile on her face. I leave there knowing that she is in a safe, clean caring place with good people. I can get on with my day without any concern for her well being. When I pick her up she let's me know that she is not ready to leave her friends. She is happy to be there and that is all the reference that I need.

My daughter started at Ivy Hill at 3 months old and continued there until elementary school. It was a wonderful experience! She was more than prepared for kindergarten.
As a working mother, I couldn't ask for my child to be better taken care of while I was at work. The curriculum as well as the social skills that she learned were more than I could have ever asked. It's a safe, happy and loving atmosphere that I would recommend to any parent. I'm so grateful that I received the trusted help that fit perfectly into my working lifestyle as a single mother....

My son attends Ivy Hill Preschool and we are thrilled with his experience. Barbara does an excellent job of running the school. The teachers and aides are all kind and engaged with the children. Barbara gives great attention to safety and cleanliness. My son's vocabulary and social skills have progressed so quickly since he started attending Ivy Hill - we are so impressed! The teachers follow a preschool curriculum that includes many planned activities, art projects, skill building activities and more. Barbara does a wonderful job of being aware of everything that happens in the school and she
