Services
Allen Brothers Mortuary, Inc. is a full service mortuary. When a loved one dies, all you need to do is make one phone call. From that moment on, we'll take on the responsibilities of the physical care of your loved one and the emotional care of those left behind. Prior to contacting your church, minister or musicians please consult with your Funeral Director/Arrangement Counselor at either the Vista or San Marcos Chapel.
We are as committed to our profession and our communities as we are to the families we serve. The California Funeral Directors Association (CFDA) is comprised of approximately 650 members throughout California - funeral homes and companies serving the funeral profession.

In order to foster and perpetuate high ethical standards in the funeral service profession, each member of this association pledges to adhere to specific rules of professional conduct.Allen Brothers Mortuary, Inc. is also proud to be a member of the San Diego Funeral Directors Association. The Allen Brothers family enjoys contributing to our communities through the following organizations.
Rose was the only love and beloved wife for 57 years to her late husband, William Joolingen, 80. The day of her passing marked the day of the 12th anniversary of William's passing, so we know they are reunited in heaven once again. Carolyn graduated from Baker High School in 1957, went on to receive her bachelor's degree in education from Wright State University.
The Allen Brothers Family understands that each family we serve will have unique circumstances, needs and desires. We have designed our package plans to give you a wide range of options in services and prices from which to choose. The package plans can then be personalized by your choices to create a customized service for your loved one and family.
TRADITIONAL BURIAL SERVICE packages include a visitation, funeral service, and graveside committal service. Although modifiable to meet your needs, the following is a list of services included in this package price. My aunt's condition was deteriorating and was referred to hospice. The hospice team provided us a list of providers for the family to make final arrangements. Upon calls and interviews to a few, Allen Bros. stood apart in providing much detailed information and a real sense of caring. On top of that, they provided me excellent information in processing the details of the contract and services, as they are in San Diego and I am on the east coast. I would recommend them to anyone who requires their services.

Allen Brothers was very professional and accommodating during such a difficult and emotional time.
From the moment they came to our house, they were nothing but professional. Tanya was emphatic and gave me options to handle things online, phone or or in person. Couldn’t of asked for better service and honoring our requests. Thank you

Darren was very caring, cooperative and genuinely interested in providing excellent service to our family in this difficult time. Very reasonable and exceeded all our expectations in coordinating with the hospital, social security department and cemetery. He fulfilled all his committments and graciously agreed to all our last minute changes and arrangements. I would highly recommend Allen Brothers for families going through a difficult time when their loved ones are gone and no arrangements have been made in advance. We had no pre planned arrangements. My mom passed away on early Sunday morning

Losing a loved one is never easy. Having someone navigate me through the process was comforting. I am so grateful that my mom prearranged everything, which I would highly recommend. It relieved me from having to fret over any decisions. I am so grateful. Tonya was kind, caring, compassionate, and helpful. Thank you so much!

My father passed away in October 2020. He had made arrangements for his funeral at Allen Brothers Mortuary and everything went well as planned. In addition, Hollis worked with us all the details of the Memorial service and was very eager to please the family. Because of the Covid situation we had some restrictions and rules to follow but we were happy to comply to ensure safety for all. I give them a five star rating and would recommend them to others.

Nothing can prepare you for the loss of a loved one. Not only are you overcome with grief, but now you have to begin making decisions that you wish you never had to. I asked a friend who had recently gone through this who she had used for the loss of her loved one. She told me to call Allen Brothers Mortuary. I met Tanya Richardson there who was full of sincere compassion and very patient with my multitude of questions. I asked her to do a few specific things, and she did her best to accommodate my requests. What could have been a terrible experience was made bearable by the compassionate and professional
