As business owners ourselves being nice and polite when serving your customers is of top priority. This motel is run by a very nice family. They were so welcoming and attentive. Super close to beach boardwalk. Honored a little bit later checkout for us no problem. Perfect size pool for my kids to splash for a bit. Does it need some upgrades yes but we were able to rest just fine for the night. Keep being good to people and they will be back. Thank you.

If I could rate 0 stars I would. When we walked in place smelled strongly of mold(I had an asthma attack within first few minutes). I lysoled the AC, cleaned the filter(caked in dirt). The bathroom had mildew and caked dirt all over the baseboards. I had to use my own disinfectant to get rid of the dried urine off of the base of the toilet(and in back of the toilet). There were ants running along the back of the toilet along baseboard. I used two washcloths of theirs to clean the place and they were filthy by the time I was done. For $180/night this is a fleabag motel at premium prices. Save yourself

We stayed the night in a 3 full size room. The room is located on the second floor of the motel. It was clean but dated. There is a small microwave, refrigerator and 2 burner electric stove. You would need to bring your own pots,plates, silverware,etc. There are not any tables or chairs and one outlet in the room. The bathroom is very small and has a shower, no tub. The employees are very nice and willing to help with any of your needs.

The owners were some of the nicest people I've ever met ! I was honestly surprised how clean the room was! There is a small pool in the back, with chairs and a picnic table. Even though the pool was small, it was never full so that was nice. There was a microwave, fridge & a 2 burner stovetop. (In case you wanna pack a pan or two) They give you a parking pass to park right out front on the street.(I don't know why people mentioned the parking being terrible)Also beach passes were included which was cool.

If you’ve ever stayed in seaside heights you know how hard it is to find a decent motel that is clean and you feel comfortable in. This was my second year staying at Franklin terrace and I will never go anywhere else other than to them! The rooms have always been very very clean as well as smelt clean too (which most motels have mildew smell when you walk in but not this one!). The rooms even have full cable and decent sized TVS as well as a little stove for cooking with a sink and microwave. I’ve been coming to seaside heights with my friend every summer for 5 years now and we won’t stay anywhere else. The staff is extremely friendly and they even remembered us at check in this year! It’s always clean, AC units work great and it is an amazing location from the beach for the price! Definitely recommended staying here for a little getaway trip to the beach

Its a cute place. Not a luxury motel, its older but you can tell they work to keep it as clean as you can expect from a jersey shore motel. Only reason I gave a 3 not a 4 or 5 is because the bathroom could be a bit better. Good value for the money. Close to the boardwalk. Staff is very friendly. I'd stay here again.

Good hotel if you're staying for a weekend. It's right between bamboo bar and karma so it's nice for 21+ year olds. The bathroom is extremely tiny and the stove top didn't work. The people in the office were a little rude and didn't offer late checkout when I requested it. However it was very clean. But I wouldn't stay there for a week+ vacation because the pool is extremely tiny and the parking lot is very inconvenient.

The owners of this broken down building are so rude to their customers. You would think after paying $130 for a tiny room that they would let you're friends who are up for just a day inside your room but saddly they screamed at us for that. When I asked for my money back and said I would find a different hotel they refused my refund. Never stay at this garbage place

While booking my trip to Jersey, I wanted a cheap hotel that was fine enough to sleep and shower; that's exactly what I got with this hotel. The room was average, but exactly what I wanted for the price I was paying. The bed was super comfortable and the room was spacious. The location of the hotel was great; we were walking distance from the boardwalk and from plenty of restaurants. We had free parking as well!
The only complaints I had was the room smelt like cigarettes. The hotel enforces no smoking but the guests who had the room before me did not comply. I also noticed mold on the shower

I stayed at the Franklin Terrace last weekend for an overnight stay with a girlfriend. We choose it due to its proximity to the beach and shore attractions. From the moment we walked in to check- in, the female staff member did not even seem like she wanted to greet us when we said hello post walking into office. She collected the remainder of the booking amount owed and didn't even give my friend her change back. Our other two friends came out to meet us at the motel parking lot and needed to use restroom. I would give this place 0 stars if I could. Me and my friends booked a room for 3 nights and we ended up paying to be guests at our other friends motel (money that we didn't have) because the staff at Franklin Terrace made us feel so unwelcome. There was 4 of us and we were only given 3 towels. Also the bathroom didn't have a bath mat so we did what any normal person would do and put one of our 3 towels on the floor. When we asked for more towels they sent up a very rude woman who told us they had to throw out towels and to not put them on the floor again. Not really how I would expect

Bare minimum at best. Nothing in the room. No bible, phone, or anything of that sort. Decent chunk of change for a small motel with only 17 guest rooms. Would never stay here again. Only plus is if you get too drunk, the bathroom sink is so close to the toilet you can lean on it. Sad. Although the staff is extremely friendly.

The first review was very spot on. Only thing I would add is that the bathroom is very small and the service from the staff was excellent. They were very friendly. It's a great place to stay if location is your priority and not amenities. Perfect for us because all we needed was somewhere to sleep. Oh and bonus it had a room with three full size beds in it!
