Love them! I cannot recommend the Secret Salon highly enough! Alice was so prompt to respond to my numerous emails. She was so sweet and excited for our wedding. She was so professional and genuinely kind. She worked hard with me on creating a schedule that worked for everyone. She was organized and great at communication.

I am so happy to have booked Secret Salon for my wedding. The owner, Alice, is so organized and friendly that I felt comfortable from the moment I met her for the makeup trial. She handles all communication and coordination and is a true professional. Her prices are more than fair; $165 for hair AND makeup is unheard of in Southern California, especially when her artists' work is so good. I did not have to pay a travel fee for the makeup artists despite the fact that I live in downtown San Diego and they were located in North County. Alice was wonderful, she did my wedding makeup+hair and I also had a trial with her prior to the event. Alice is professional, responsive and friendly - the makeup and hair turned out beautiful and she tweaked the look after the trial to perfection based on my feedback.

I've never had makeup and hair done for a formal event prior to this and she made the experience seamless and easy. The way she did my hair was really comfortable! it It stayed in place and didn't pull anywhere - and didn't give me a headache at the end of the day.

First of all, communication was great with Alice. She was able to answer my emails quickly, and payment was so easy with being able to use Venmo. It was $150 for hair and airbrush makeup. My sister and I did a trial with one of the stylists, Jane, and we were so happy with how it turned out. Alice was also very helpful in providing me with a schedule for the day of (I had 11 people doing hair/makeup) so that eased a lot of my stress.

Alice and her two associates did a wonderful job with my bridal party of eight plus a flower girl. Everyone was happy with their hair and make-up but the team was also receptive to whatever suggestions and choices we wanted as well so no one felt like their wants were being ignored.

I cannot say enough great things about Alice and Jane! I got to meet Alice during my trial and she was so sweet and welcoming and I'm sure would be a lovely person to have on your wedding day team. Let's start off with some positives.
-My hair looked great
-They got to the house on time
-They were receptive to everyone's demands and more or less was able to get everyone's requests

-Out of everyone I researched, they had the cheapest price, which included lashes and airbrush...and the bride does not have to pay extra

Alice was absolutely amazing! Finding a hair and makeup artist was the hardest part of my wedding. I found Secret Salon and loved the reviews and photos! I met Alice for a hair and makeup tutorial and immediately loved her. Alice is so sweet and made me feel so beautiful. I wanted just a simple half up/half down curled look with natural makeup. She did airbrush makeup (a must!) and I ended up getting extensions because it made me look so glamorous! I looked absolutely stunning but still like me, which is exactly what I wanted. WOW, where do I even start?! First of all the communication with Secret Salon was great, they answered all my emails very quickly. Payment with them was so easy using venmo, cash, or check. (for hair and airbrush makeup it was $150 which I thought was SO REASONABLE, especially when doing my research for prices in that area). I did not do a trial because I am from out of town, but I really don't think you need to because they only do wedding hair and makeup and are so experienced they know exactly what to do.

Alice did a wonderful job for my weddin makeup and hair. I was so pleased with her natural airbrushing and my hair-n-makeup lasted all night. My photos turned out great and her team did a wonderful job on my bridal crew. They were on time and got us all done when we needed to. She is such a joy to be around and made the getting ready part of my wedding run so smoothly. She also offers great value for her prices, which I was so thankful for. I got married on May 7th and could not have been happier with Alice! My bridesmaids and mom were very happy with their make-up as well! Alice and a second stylist came to our AirBnB in La Jolla to help us get ready for the big day! Not only was the work great, but you have to think about which vendors you would want to spend time with before the wedding, because you spend hours with them. Alice and her staff were professional, friendly, hard working, and fun to be around. I have no reservations in recommending them to others to use!
