I am very disappointed. I have seen Dr Kappil for years. But now I am in real trouble and can't get any help. After having cataract surgery I went for my check ups. May 3 I was told to come back in 4 months. When I got to the front desk I was told their scheduling program was not working and they would call me with my appointment. Three months later I called to make my appointment and again was told that the scheduling program was not working and they would call me back. I am still waiting. I am done! Trying to find help elsewhere.

Joseph Kappil is by far THE RUDEST and most UNPROFESSIONAL doctors I have ever encountered. I do NOT recommend this "Doctor" to anyone young or old, but especially NOT to Senior Citizens, he has in my opinion a disdain and lack of empathy for the older generation. I was referred to him for treatment of wide angle glaucoma. I needed an Ophthalmologist close to home and I am on Medicare. The day of my appointment, Dr. Kappil came into the room and proceeded to read thru my records like there was a fire in the building, my eye exam and vision test were rushed and extremely abrupt, he would not take

This is the shadiest eye doctor in all of the world. Run away! Don’t come here for any reason! Or the office staff will tip you off. The office told me my insurance plan was fully in network and my insurance company confirmed this! I go to visit the eye doctor. He was great! But then After I give them my insurance card, I get a bill in the mail for the full payment amount. I called to find out why this was since I was expecting this to be a preventative service which was 100% covered. They call me back to tell me they aren’t willing to code my visit as preventative despite the fact that I have

The front desk staff was rude. The front desk staff that is. Told them I already met my max-out-of-pocket and they insisted on charging me $65. co-pay anyway. No other medical practice has required this. She even said..."when you can prove that to me in writing". Wow, now I am having to talk to blue cross and this office to get reimbursed. Blue Cross has confirmed they helped themselves to two co-pays. I am getting reimbursed finally but I doubt that I would have without me making many phone calls to make sure this happened.

Don't go near this place! And certainly don't take your elderly loved one. The office staff is curt and rude, both on the phone and during the visit. My mother has memory issues, which we explained to the staff before the visit. My daughter brought her to the visit and the tech wouldn't let my daughter in the room with her. My daughter heard her getting anxious so she entered the room, just to sit and calm her. The tech was rude and very curt with both my daughter and my mother. We recently visited another local physician and got the completely opposite treatment. Whispering Point also had her
