My wife and I thoroughly enjoy their wine! Being a native to Virginia all of my life, I am proud to say that Casanel Vineyards are producing superb wine right in my own town of Leesburg, Virginia!

The staff are nice and the grounds are pretty with a variety of seating inside and out. But if you are looking for a decent wine, I would not recommend it. We tried the full flight of the whites and the reds - all of them were horrible, with a bad smell and taste. They also gave an instant headache, the one you get from unfinished fermentation or chemicals. And btw, the samples are poured in small plastic containers, which we pretty much left untouched.

I enjoyed the outdoor views and the grounds, and thought the wine was pretty good. However, for the price, I found their tasting to be very stingy at 4 1 oz pours served in plastic ramekins. I would go back, but I wouldn't do the tasting like that again.

Spent a lovely Thanksgiving Monday afternoon at this beautiful, quiet and peaceful winery with good old friends. The indoor and outdoor seating is very welcoming and the fall flight of wines were perfect to sip and enjoy. The service provided by Eric was exceptional! Thank You!

Great place to celebrate Phase 1 in NoVA. We have been here before and chose to celebrate some freedom at a quieter place on a beautiful day. In the past we have also experienced this winery as a quiet place with beautiful scenery. They were very organized and observing all the current rules and we actually had less contact here with people than at any store. Perfect wines for sipping on a pleasant spring day were the white, Elliana and the red blend, K2. They also had a delightful selection of cheese, crackers, sodas etc. The Bourbon smoked Gouda was spectacular. Plenty of room to roam and the

This place has great wine and snacks. Specifically the full Nelson Norton Port style dessert wine and the Bourbon Smoke Gouda!! All the staff is very friendly and Erik is very knowledgeable and tells you about how they made the wine! It is a very welcoming environment where they make you feel like part of the family.

Beautiful vineyard with a large, open tasting room. They have a lot of outside seating. We came on a Saturday and it was very quiet. The only downside was that there were a lot of bees flying outside. We got the Patria Maris (Pinot Gris) bottle. It tasted very thin and difficult to drink. 5 stars for the vineyard and 1.5 for the wine.

Quite a pleasant surprise! Off the beaten path, over a gravel road you will happen upon this winery. It is set in a hillside over a pond with views of the vinyard. The wine was very good and their ratings in both (known) magazines verify this fact. Great place to taste and then hang out with provided board games. It's a treat.
