Creek's Edge Winery
Creek's Edge Winery located in historic Taylorstown, Virginia sits along the lovely Catoctin Creek in Northern Virginia's Loudoun County. Its owner, Tedd Durden began dreaming of a legacy for his three children in 2002 while living in Fairfax County. In 2005, the family moved to a beautiful property on the opposite side of the creek and, in 2007, Mr. Durden purchased the land which is now home to Creek's Edge Winery.

Our award-winning on-site winemaker grew up surrounded by vineyards. His expertise and love for the art of winemaking, along with our homegrown grapes, create refreshing and rich wine blends.

Two stars pretty much for the beautiful building, patio and outdoor areas. The final time we went to Creek’s Edge the long haired young lady was just condescending. She stated she was unable to carry an empty wine glass, a full wine glass and a small flight on one trip to our table, & that she can pour the flight in my mouth (??).
Scan code was provided to see the menu on iPhones, but we asked for actual menus, and she brought one. We had to ask for another one, more waiting. It was just our table of two inside, and 2 to 3 tables on the patio.
Sadly the food menu was cut down to about 10 items

I’ve been going to Creeks Edge Winery for a couple of years now. The wine is good and they usually have music some night during the weekend. I love it here in the winter time because of the fireplace. I had a reservation with 2 other girlfriends and luckily the couches were open so we got to sit right on front of it. I was a little disappointed that there wasn’t a fire going but oh well. Perhaps next time. If you’re looking for a cozy place in the winter to sip some wine by the fire (when it’s on) and listen to some music, you’ve found your spot.

Wine was really underwhelming. Pretty place to hang out. Beautiful, really. Has a creek that surrounds the property. Food menu was very good. Live music. The wine.....yeah, dont expect much. They put a lot of effort into the atmosphere. It shows. Very relaxing place to have a drink. Lot of "daycare by winery". Kids everywhere. If they could put together just one decent red the place would be amazing.

I enjoyed the wine, service, and location. The wines were mostly pretty good. I did find a couple that I liked. The service was great and there's plenty of food options as well. Probably the biggest draw is the view. The place is beautiful inside and out with lots of sprawling space to hang out in. There was even a 3k/5k the night we visited which should help describe the scale of the property size. I would go back for some of the wines and the atmosphere to hang out. Definitely a classier feel.

This is a beautiful vineyard, lots of stone and wood! Wines are great, had a flight of red wines, and ordered a bottle of red to drink with, a sandwich and spinach and artichoke dip with vegetables. Had a very nice young man with an acoustic guitar singing and playing old classic songs. It was a wonderful time!!

Food and wine were both good. Food portions were large. We tried mainly white wines and thought all of the wines were good. In addition we tried one of the bourbon barrel aged red wines which was very good and will have to try more of their reds when the weather gets cooler. We missed out on the Sangria event they had running that day so make sure you check out their event schedule well in advance of visiting. Live music on weekends under their spacious pavilion is a plus. We'll be back to try their Sunday brunch soon.

A very pleasant place to stop and take a break as summer winds down and fall settles in... a beautiful drive to get here and a beautiful property to enjoy once you do.
They have plenty of outdoor seating, some in sun, some in the shade, and they even had a good live band (If anything the band was a bit loud if you were up on the patio.)
We bought a flight of wines to share (we had to drive) and a beautiful charcuterie platter, which was quite delightful in its range of sweet to salty snacks, including jalapeño cornbread, spicy cheeses, homemade pickles (with some sort of potpourri-like seasoning

Went there a second time after going on a rainy day during winter and not being able to truly fully enjoy it (although we still did love it) and was even better. Service was on point, courteous, friendly, and professional. I needed info on events, and services offered, and the server was diligent about getting it for me. I'm usually a red wine person, but felt like a white and ordered the chardonnay, I was poured one from 2017 and ended up getting two bottles. The best charcuterie board I have had yet in wineries in the area yet, plus some delicious home made chocolate cookies. The place is gorgeous

This is a beautiful winery! They have a large tasting menu and you can choose what you want to taste, if you like only reds you can taste only reds same with whites or you can taste both. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and make your experience fun. There is plenty of room both inside and out with lots of seating. The tasting room has a cozy feeling although it is large. This was a great winery experience!
