Services
The Bissonette family has been in the real estate business for over 35 years. Our portfolio is located primarily in Burlington, VT with the majority of our apartments being in the Old North End. We also have properties convenient to the Old North End, University of Vermont, and Champlain College. Bissonette Properties has built our business by providing responsive tenant services.
Denise was born in New Hampshire and graduated from St. Michael's College and hasn't left Vermont since! As Bissonette Properties newest team member, Denise works as the first point of contact for all tenants and is always happy to help! Margo has been with Bissonette Properties since October of 2015.
We would encourage you to activate your Tenant Portal to streamline your rental experience, and you can submit any routine property concerns to us online. We also provide after-hours emergency service as well. We appreciate our residents who treat our properties as their own. PET POLICY - Bissonette Properties is a pet-friendly Management company and understands the value of having a pet. We ask that you understand the guidelines and are respectful of others. All guidelines are outlined in the pet addendum you are required to sign if you decide to have a pet. INSURANCE- Are you insured?
Upon signing your lease it is your responsibility to call and have all utilities switched into your name prior to your move-in date. You must keep all utilities in your name for the entire duration of your lease. Please follow these guidelines provided by the City of Burlington for proper disposal of all trash and waste.

It can definitely be daunting to try and find an apartment during a pandemic while living in a different state, but Lauren made the process just about painless. She was knowledgeable about the units themselves as well as public transportation, and her responsiveness helped ease any stress. I've only seen the apartment via virtual tour, but I'm very excited to move in!

I have enjoyed my apartment that I share with my boyfriend and a friend! That being said, there was an extra person fee of $200/month which is a bit excessive since we definitely don’t use $200 more in trash and water each month, and so it’s actually just an excuse to charge you more. I am not renewing my lease because I found a more affordable (and new) apartment for my boyfriend and I but I did appreciate how nice this apartment has been in terms of cleanliness. Bissonette Properties has been amazing and we are so excited to move into our new apartment! They were super responsive and helpful in assisting us with any questions we had about the apartment. Lauren helped us find a unit that met all of our needs and made us feel extremely comfortable signing on a place that we were unable to see due to Covid. They made the signing process easy and have continued to be helpful even after our lease was signed! Pet friendly! Nicely renovated up to date apartments with nice wood floors, most with W/D in unit. Easy to file macitence requests and get in touch with the folks in the office (except Sunday). Also very helpful in finding a new apartment into at the end of leases. Be sure to get an idea of the parking as some driveways are stacked parking.

Comparing my rent and quality of apartment to my friends living in Burlington is wild. My apartment is updated, clean and in such good condition in comparison. And somehow I’m still paying less than many of my friends living in the same area. I’ve lived in so many burlington apartments and living in a Bissonette apartment has by far been the best experience. I mean they aren’t perfect obviously, but they are nice, responsive, and it’s been really good living here. Also their pet rent is very affordable!

My boyfriend and I are moving into a unit in June. The process of renting the unit was very smooth with Lauren, as well as accommodating when other units fell through, patient, and was very nice overall. We love the pet friendly aspect and are excited to move in! Also, the video of the virtual tours of the units are very good and detailed. When there wasn't video I would ask if there was one and I always got a quick response back!
