Prior to the founding of the firm, Mr. Hammel served as an assistant public defender in Will County beginning in 1989. After calling Ted’s office and being put right through to him, he suggested I come down to meet him and review the charges I had against me; Excessive Speeding, Improper Lane Usage, Following Too Close and DUI. Ted met with me as soon as I arrived to his office, heard my story and then explained what the next steps will look like. Before each court date, we met for a few minutes in his office to review any details and then proceeded across the street where he would have me checked in.
