Services
One Physical Therapy and Wellness is an innovative physical therapy clinic and Pilates studio where one-on-one care is paramount. We believe that individualized care is vital for successful rehabilitation, and at One we accomplish this goal by seeing only one patient at a time. Clinical excellence, personalized care, and a balanced approach to rehabilitation are the focus.
Ellen graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Ithaca College and has loved working in outpatient orthopedics ever since. She appreciates that this job has so much variety and enjoys getting creative with her skill sets while treating a wide range of injuries. Ellen also has her training through Herman and Wallace on Pelvic Rehab and continues to focus her training on pelvic floor dysfunctions.
Your first physical therapy appointment at One Physical Therapy and Wellness will involve and in-depth evaluation of your injury, limitations and goals for treatment with a licensed physical therapist. Once we have a clear picture of what is going on it is easier to help you more effectively, so we will ask you a lot of questions about your pain or difficulty and will perform tests and maneuvers to determine the cause of your symptoms.
We are now offering Virtual one-on-one Pilates sessions! Whether you have equipment or not, our instructors will help design a workout that is right for you, your activity level and your goals, right from the comfort of your own home. Please call us or email office@oneptandwellness.com for more information or to schedule a one-on-one session.
Pilates-based Mat class designed for the post-rehab patient, especially for those with a history of back pain. It is a great bridge between physical therapy and Pilates, focusing on proper muscle activation and breath. Taught by a Physical Therapist and includes gentle core stabilization and stretching.

ONE Physical Therapy is amazing! I highly recommend this place. I was sent here by my urologist for one issue but I ended up receiving treatment for my scoliosis pain as well. They have a personalized approach where you feel cared for as a person from the owner to the folks at the front desk. Also, they offer pilates as part of the rehab which to me is cutting edge and sets ONE PT apart from the others. If you decide to go here, you will not be disappointed. These caring people know what they are doing!

Clean facility with a major focus on pilates-driven rehab. Very nice people. Much preferred to the larger commercial PT facilities.

Love it here! I first went with back pain, and left without. Everybody is so nice and friendly and I felt like I was part of a community whenever I was there. Everybody takes the time to get to know you. I had been to different PT places beforehand, but after a few months saw no improvement in my pain. After the first few visits at One, I felt a big difference. All of the PTs collaborated and thought outside of the box to figure out what was causing my pain. The combination of pilates, manual therapy, and one patient per PT really set them apart for me.
