We stayed here in May for my sister's wedding. We rented two rooms. One room was clean and very decent, but the TV didn't work. The other room was okay, but the carpet was nasty. Some of the workers seem a little creepy..
The second day we were there, I tripped on an uneven sidewalk and severely broke my arm. Owner came to see why an ambulance was there but never asked if I was okay. Later, my family tried to get his insurance information and he was very evasive. He asked us to call the next day and get the information. When we did, he still didn't have the information. I had to hire an attorney

I stayed one night 11/26-11/27 at this hotel and I can honestly say this is the worse place I have ever stayed. There were insects in my bed, I woke up to find insect bites on my neck, arm, and back. Needless to say, I will never stay here again! I will have to wash everything that was inside the room to ensure that I haven't brought anything home. I was in room 122. Had I not been so disgusted I would have requested a refund.

John was very accommodating in fulfilling our travel needs. We are A major chain member and we’re twice left to scramble for accommodations. Suite dreams made room for us , fed, and took care of all of last minute needs. Excellent service, comfortable bed, clean room plenty of amenities with nearby restaurants, and shopping. Will def stay here again.

I had no idea there was such a nice, affordable place in Mattoon! The staff and owners were so helpful and accommodating. Our room was updated, clean and smelled fresh(and we got a smoking room!). The main lobby is decorated in a very inviting yet contemporary style. We are very pleased with our stay and hope to stay there again soon. Thank you so, so very much!!!

Booked a room based on reviews and their website images.
Arrived and the place was filthy. I carried my child instead of letting her down on the nasty hallway floors. After looking around the room we found a well fed bed bug and left immediately. Will not be refunded so I'm taking it up with my bank. Staff was rude. Pool was empty and full of rust stains. Just nasty.

I would never stay here again. it was absolutely disguising. the motel was outdated, my room smelt like old smoke (even though it was a non smoking room), an RV was given permission to park outside taking up a parking area (looked very trashy), homeless car parked there two nights out of the three I stayed there. breakfast was advertised as open until 10 and we got there at 8:45 and absolutely nothing was there, you could hardly ever find somebody at the front desk, and the bath tub handle and ironing board were both broken in the room. will never be stepping foot on this property again.
