I worked in the restaurant industry for several years before I realized my dream of one day owning my own cafe. I wanted to create a space that was warm and inviting. Where people could come to relax, and their minds could find sanctuary from the stresses of everyday life. I started by serving the best coffee I could get my hands on.
K Bay Coffee and Espresso is Organic and Fairly Traded, locally roasted in Homer, Alaska. Over the years we have had excellent staff, our menu has grown, and we found our niche on the east end of downtown. We are passionate about great food and warm hospitality.

Services
We offer several catering options to meet the needs of your event. Our bread comes fresh from a local bakery. All of our Boars Head meats and cheeses are sliced fresh daily and contain no fillers, artificial colors, flavors or trans fat. Our cooks prepares all of our soups from scratch and our baked goods are made in house.

Came in today for a pick up and to my surprise they had it ready and still HOT!!
I came a while back and wasn’t quite satisfied with the service. I was told they got new owners recently and it definitely shows.

I love my coffee from here. Thaira greets me by name and remembers my order right when I come in. They have a variety of syrup flavors & milk options. Regular, vanilla, Matcha are there for your choosing. Regarding the Red Bull flavors too.
Her Smooth and delicious latte, at the perfect temperature, with beautiful latte art. Seriously and consistently good stuff. Service and the location is just great. I can choose to get coffee from wherever, but having Thaira be friendly with me, remember my order, chat with me, and go above and beyond with my drink makes this place 5 stars.

Quick, affordable, great healthy ingredients, and the staff was accommodating to my food preferences. Excellent choice if you want something relatively quick and delicious! Their coffee selection was also excellent. A little noisy (but fresh ground coffee can be worth it!) but my 7 day old son had no issues with the noise.

I went in there today before work to grab a quick breakfast but not only did it take close to 10 minutes to even take my order (1 flying pig breakfast sandwich), they took 40 minutes to make it. They were not insanely busy. I would expect 10 MAYBE 20 minutes on average, but 40 was unacceptable. I was late for work. The sandwich itself was actually quite good, but the service was horrible.
