All of these positive ratings make me wonder if Tim and Derrick were working on everyone else's taxes instead of mine. We took our business to them several years back, and it all went pretty smoothly at first. Then, the trouble started. A few mistakes turned into lost paperwork, numerous phone calls by US to remind THEM of things that needed to be done, then radio silence. It soon became clear that they either had better things to do (i.e., more lucrative clients), or were completely incompetent. Once we started correcting THEIR errors, we decided that we'd save the money and go back

I was so happy to have found T&D last year and I'm definitely going back to them for my taxes this year. Tim was a tremendous help and so easy to work with. Having fallen a bit behind on my taxes, I was nervous and embarrassed but Tim immediately put me at ease and helped me out of my situation without judgment. Tim absolutely came to the rescue when I had our first child and needed to set up wage payments, tax payments, and tax reporting for our nanny. He walked us through how to set up our own tax id, set up our quarterly payments for us and even went so far as to label, address, and stamp the envelopes for each payment. All we had to do was write the check! Tim and Derrick went above and beyond to make the always enjoyable process of dealing with my taxes as painless as possible, and their commitment to serving their clients is exemplary.

When my partner and I moved back home to the Bay Area in 2011, I asked a trusted friend if she had a referral for a decent tax person. Enter Tim! A home run the first time out! Now Tim has handled our taxes since 2011. When my partner was alive we had some complicated tax needs, and then when she passed the tax needs changed but still needed attention of someone who knew the tax laws. I feel sick even clicking on 1 Star. These guys have no tact when owning up to mistakes made by their own office.
Due to opening up a big fitness facility last year, and starting a new business, I decided to go on monthly installments for some taxes owed. To make a very long story short, Tim told me specifically he would "Take care of this" as in setting up the Installment plan. I signed the paperwork and THEN, He NEVER even sent the application in which I did not discover until months later.
I did see some warning letters which I brought to his attention and then due to being busy

Tim Vu was so great! Due to life circumstances I was behind with my taxes. I went to Tim after 2 friends highly recommended him and I'm so happy I did. He made the stressful process of getting caught up feel easy and worry free. Just like the other reviews stated ~ he was professional, efficient, personable, and budget conscience.
