Services
The equipment utilized by the therapists at Kibbey and Terle PT, LLC has been carefully chosen to best suit the needs of our patient population. One should not consider choosing a therapy facility based solely on the "machines" it has. Whenever possible we make use of one's body weight or elastic resistance bands - as these are more functional forms of resistance than machines and weights.
We believe our fee schedule is fair and very reasonable, and welcome comparisons to other similar practices in the region. Because we provide personalized care to each patient on an individual basis, there are only a few insurance plans that we can afford to participate with. Some insurers have specific pre-certification and/or referral requirements that our staff will make every effort to learn of and obtain prior to your first visit.
Physical therapy is treatment provided by or under the direct supervision of a licensed physical therapist (PT). It includes the use of physical agents to treat pain, discomfort - such as numbness and tingling, disability, and dysfunction. Exercises - to strengthen or lengthen muscles and to reduce unwanted muscle activity or to increase or decrease muscle tone to a more normal level.
Comfortable clothing that permits movement is best. The initial visit will always involve exposing the area to be treated to the therapist's view. Exposure of adjacent areas may also be required. We provide gowns as well as shorts and T-shirts if the clothing you wear does not permit the required exposure or could be soiled/stained in the treatment process.
If you have Medicare Part B as either your primary or secondary type of insurance choose the "Medicare set". If you do not have Medicare Part B choose the "Non-Medicare set" of forms. In either case complete the forms and bring them with you to your first appointment. Specific guidelines concerning payment for services will be determined and signed upon verification of any insurance information provided.

I had chronic pain in most of my body, headaches, and severe dizziness. After months of tests and some PT, I was faced with a diagnosis of a lifetime of chronic pain regulated by medication and very limited ability to do sport. After I started working with Bill Amos I managed to get to a point where I was pain free and able to run and ski again. And I now also have the tools to stay that way. Bill has a tremendous wealth of knowledge, breadth of techniques, and insights. I can't recommend him enough.
