For my entire life, I have been good with my hands. Beginning at a very young age, I had to know how everything worked. I can remember "tinkering" late into the night in my grandfather's shop. I would disassemble electric motors, solder old circuit boards and shape projects out of wood.
I taught myself how to fix nearly anything by looking at things from the smallest piece; I even built a small-block Chevy engine a year before I had my driver's license.I loved fixing things as much as I loved helping people. After graduating high school, I enlisted in the United States Coast Guard.
