The inspiration for Beautiful Day Cafe is woven into a tapestry rich with lush gardens and small-town cafes. In 2015 Beautiful Day Cafe was born from a dream to serve real, organic, delicious, nutrient dense food to the people of Wichita. We use no GMO's, aluminum cookware, microwaves, hydrogenated oils, artificial colorings or flavorings.
Today we remain committed to using organic locally sourced ingredients, some of which is grown in our very own garden. Our small but mighty cafe features full breakfast and lunch menus, fresh organic juices, smoothies, desserts, specialty coffee drinks and teas. We are also proud to provide an incredible selection for our vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free friends.

Entry is welcoming and it has character. Staff approached immediately to ensure I knew how to order or see if I needed help. Table sitch is weird though. Random tables and chairs strewn about. Strange seating arrangement, but I guess they make it work. Menu is varied and sounded good, which is why I decided to try this place while in town. I ordered the BDC omelette. It was good; too much squash and zucchini for me, but overall, I enjoyed my meal.

I really had a nice breakfast here on my way out of Wichita. The server and cook were friendly and pleasant.
I went right when they opened up, so I got free coffee and it was quite good!
I ordered the vegan French toast and it was *delicious*!! I wish I could have it more often 😍
The space is really nice, clean, homey, lots of space. It’s right near a community garden (I think?) so the whole experience was nice.

Quirky little Cafe with fresh ingredients and organic menu. Also many available options for vegan or vegetarian diners. Super cute outdoor garden area. It was a little difficult to order as you can't see the menu from the register so you have to remember from the beginning of the line what you want to order. When I visited they also weren't doing drink orders such as smoothies so that was disappointing.

This restaurant is a must for healthy, wholesome foodies!! I only leave reviews when someplace is especially special, so I apologize in advance for the length. I searched for restaurants near our route home to Nebraska, and when this showed up, it was a no brainer lunch stop. The grilled veggies in the gluten free wrap were fantastically flavorful, and I'm eagerly anticipating the same for the take home spinach leek soup for supper. Home brewed kombucha, kimchi, infused water, bulletproof coffee, and other unique items suit the eclectic decor. My other half appreciated the meat menu options, while

What a truly refreshing, wonderful dining experience. From the moment we walked into this cafe to the moment we left, we felt welcome and at home. I loved seeing the permaculture/garden outside the restaurant and how thoughtful every detail seemed to be. Our hostess was SO KIND and sweet! She was amazing. Not to mention the plethora of vegan options across the menu. I ended up with the vegan breakfast burrito and the French toast which were both hands down delicious. If we lived closer this would be my regular spot for sure.
