We take enormous pride in being Wichita's oldest family-owned Mexican restaurant. First and foremost, we thank you for coming to eat at Connie's! Because of YOU, we are blessed that so many of our customers have grown up alongside us, and that's what makes our story so enriching! Without our loyal customers, we wouldn't have such a rich history to share.

Rafael Lopez and Conception (Connie) Rocha Lopez came to the United States, got married, and - like so many of us - worked very hard in pursuit of the American Dream. Taking great pride in his country, and recognizing the importance of faithfully defending America, Rafael joined the U.S. Army, courageously fighting in World War II as an infantryman.

Connie’s has been a staple in Wichita for as long as I can remember. I always have the shrimp tacos. They are cooked to perfection. I love the chips and salsa-great flavor and always fresh. The family that owns the restaurant are some of the nicest people I have ever met. You’ll get great services and great food.

Had the Enchilada plate for dine-in lunch. Shredded Chicken enchiladas with white queso sauce. Was super delicious!
Nachos before lunch were plentiful.
I always buy the bottled Coca-Cola over ice when I have Mexican food. Finishes off the meal perfectly!

Its good tex mex food. Tastes alot like El Mexico but higher prices. They even have a similar menu. Will give it another try though.

We had our family Christmas get together last night, what a wonderful time we had? The staff was fantastic! And the food was as wonderful as usual! We will definitely be going back next year! Thank you Connie's! The Barton family

I had a chicken burrito with queso and it was good, but I have had better. This one was a little bland-not many spices, the salsa had nice flavor but zero heat, and the queso was very thin. My burrito turned into burrito soup. I may give Connie's another try, but this go was a little underwhelming.

Outstanding food as always! We love the atmosphere and food; the service is stellar and they treat you like family. We always go on Tuesdays for their taco special. Love this restaurant!

I had not been to this place is years! Used to live in Wichita and it was one of my favs back in the day. I was back in town so I had to stop. It was just as amazing as it was 18 years ago. Please stop and give these folks your business, I promise you will not be disappointed.

Friendly little family run Mexican restaurant. We really enjoyed our meals and the 2 different homemade salsas. Service was courteous and prompt and they seemed well-staffed which has been rare at other restaurants lately. Prices were a tiny bit higher than our regular places but I don't mind paying for a good experience. The guacamole was good but needed a little more salt. The fajitas were very well seasoned and tasty. They came out on a plate, not a steaming skillet but that didn't bother me. My daughter enjoyed her taco but we should have asked for it with no lettuce since she's averse to green

Absolutely the best service I have ever had. Great food, fast but not fast food. I highly recommend this eatery and wish there were more closer to southside.
