During the cold months, I find myself looking for bread to go with a weekend dinner and some dessert for afterwards. I saw Orza on Yelp and figured it was worth the trip. There is a good municipal lot across the street. The bakery is a nice size and you're greeted by nice staff, great smells, and a sizable selection.
I selected an Italian bread and received a huge loaf. (Would have made an incredible party hero) Grabbed a couple of conchas for the car ride home and tres leches and flan for dessert.
The Italian bread had perfect texture and flavor. Both of my daughters mentioned how much

My first time going I had a bad experience, bad customer service!
I wanted to purchase 30 conchas Mexican bread and the girl that was supposedly helping me refuse to sell me the 30 conchas because she said, she will stay with no conchas at all 🤦🏻♀️😑
That was her explanation why she was not able to sell me those 30 conchas.
Not ever again passing by to this bakery.

This is not a patisserie where you sit and eat a pastry. It's a more-than-100-year-old Italian bakery, and they bake bread and sell it. Tons of bread. All kinds of bread. Tier after tier after tier of bread, going all the way to the back of the store. It's noisy, as such places should be.
The smell is heavenly, the bread you buy is often still warm and always delicious, the loaves are the largest loaves of bread you've ever seen, and it's cheaper than the supermarket. When I first discovered this place a few years ago, I was sort of stunned. This is one special, special place.

This place is normally 6 stars worthy, but something has changed in the last few months. Don’t know if there is a new baker, or ingredient change due to shortages, but whatever it is I hope they can go back. Last three visits the bread has lost its shine, crackle and chewyness. Now its dry, crumbly and generic. (See photo for comparison) Please guys, get back to the old version we all love so much.
9/19/20 Update: Gave it another go today and it’s back to normal again. Star rating upped- if it sticks for two more visits I’ll add another. Fingers crossed.

I inquired about a certain kind of cinnamon raisin bread I had at a hotel. They indeed were the bakery responsible for that delicious bread. I have to order it a day before and it's worth the wait.
The bakery is clean and they offer other kinds of delicacies. Just make sure u find a good time for pickup because parking is scarce. Its cash only and they expect a tip.

We've have been using their service for the past couple of years, not as much as the big companies but we LOVE the product here. However their service has been a big disappointment. I don't know if it's because we're Hispanic or young, but they really treat us in a certain way. Last couple of days they told us to order two days ahead because they might now have it ready by the next day, then one of the guys told us if we wanted the product or not in a rude way, we decided to tell the staff that the way he spoke to us was rude, but she then just asked us if we wanted the product

Best bread in town. I now live in the Syracuse area and as a Bronx native, I miss the bread. I visit the Westchester/Bronx area quite often and have turned on people to how good this bread is. When I come back home it is usually with 20 Italian Breads...Obviously, some for me, but my friends are meeting me in the driveway on my return from the city....

The bread here is amazing and, the prices are very reasonable. The Cheesecake 🧀 and, flan are incredible. Open 24/7 this is a great late night option. They are constantly pumping out fresh baked goods so it is very easy to score fresh out of the oven dinner rolls. This os the best value dollar per dollar that i have seen. I Love this Bakery.

The raisin rolls are good from what I remember I haven't had them in a while but they were good. I purchased a flan today tasted like it's been sitting for weeks and as if it probably didn't even taste good when it was first made, first spoonful in the garbage. Could have been an off day. However it just seems like they do not fuss over the quality of the pastries anymore I wouldn't recommend them I'd rather spend the couple of bucks on pastries from shoprite nearby. They just seem bland and not appetizing at all. Do try the rolls though can't really mess bread up

Bread is good, but bakery section for cakes, sweets and Mexican breads was horrible. The Mexican concha is stale with no flavor , not even a subtle flavor., o has to health quickly 10 sec in microwave to revive it , and still it was bland and stale ! Tres leches was Stale and dry also on the most part of the upper half . Bread a little on the salty side , but was the best purchase there

Super fresh hot right out of the oven breads! It's more like a factory than a store, so you won't see aisles or pretty decor, just pure baking and that's what they concentrate on.
The cheapest bread around, and it's really cool to see them also distribute their breads to supermarkets and small grocery stores all over town.
Portuguese raisin bread is the best thing there! And you have to get Italian bread with the seeds on it, soo good!
And 24 hrs too!

This bakery is so great, it reminds me of my old days in Yonkers craving those warm breads and sweet buns.
My mom use to come here and for only $3 she got a bag full of trhe freshest rolls and long breads and raisin rolls you can imagine!!!!
Now they even make chocolate covered strawberries. This place is opened 24 hours which is even better.
Give it a try and you will not be disappointed!!
