Services
Since our founding, the guiding principle of Michael J. Grant Funeral Homes, Inc. has been the commitment to treating each family who comes to us as our own. With sincerity, pride, and dedication, we are committed to this time-honored tradition. My parents, Michael and Georgia Grant opened the doors of the funeral home in 1956.
Throughout history, burial has been a common practice in human communities, large and small; around the world. Learn more about burial, the burial services we offer, as well as the basic components of a traditional funeral service in this section of our website. Are you curious about the cremation process?
When it comes time to care for a loved one who has passed away, you may feel overwhelmed and confused about the next steps. Our funeral home staff at Foster are waiting and ready to help. Whether you'd like a traditional funeral or a more creative celebration of life, we can assist you to select the funeral service options that hold the most meaning for you, your family and your loved one.
Obituaries act as quiet reminders of the finite nature of our lives. Yet, for those who have recently experienced the death of a family member or friend, an obituary means so much more. It is a bittersweet reminder of all we've lost, but it can also help us to remember all we enjoyed while they were alive.
In addition to the options listed here, we offer burial selections designed with your needs and budget in mind. What is a Funeral? No matter where it's held, a funeral is a structured ceremony, with a beginning, middle and end. Each is intended to engage the living participants in activities which will transform their status within the community, provide mourners with a collective grieving experience, and celebrate a life lived.

I get a phone call from the funeral director the morning of my sister's funeral services. Saying that payment wasn't made in full and they need the money. Now, I'm worried about serives and if the services were going to continue to show and bury my sister. They confirmed they will follow through with the serives, however I need to make the full payment. I understand it a business, but there is TIME and PLACE to ask for the remaining of the payment. Logan approaches me in the middle of the viewing and asking for the remaining payment. No regard for my current state of emotion and the fact that I

Please allow me to start off by saying how incredible of a funeral director Dan Scott was and how he made everything from start to finish as easy and as comforting as possible. Dan went above and beyond to make sure we were attended to properly. My family and I highly recommend Grant funeral home for this reason among many others. We will be returning in the future when the unfortunate time comes. There is no question as to which funeral home is our one of choice.

I do not know where to start. My uncle was a simple man, surrounded by simple people, who wanted a simple service, but that was clearly too much too ask. Many people contributed to this depersonalized, money driven, ignominy of a service, but Daniels actions in particular stood out the most. After the Michael J Grant group presented us with an unset room, Daniel interrupted the wake multiple times for my grieving families signatures. During the morning service Daniel provided us with the displeasure of a mumbled prayer. Immediately following the prayer Daniel asked we gave our final goodbye, but

Dear Mr. Grant,
Today, I picked up my Mother, Mrs. Rosa Mendez's urn.
I am very happy with the final resting place for my beloved Mom.
Her passing was very sudden and unexpected.
You were very kind to me in this very sad time in my life. You were very compassionate and understanding to me.
Mr. Grant, you took time from your very busy schedule to make sure I was satisfied in every way.
The urn is truly beautiful. It resembles a beautiful piece of art.
I can never thank you enough for the professional and caring way you run your business.
I know my lovely Mother is smiling down from Heaven
