Seth Allen enlisted in the U.S. Army after high school. He was injured while serving and scheduled for surgery. He decided to not have the surgery and saw a chiropractor instead who ultimately fixed him. After receiving his honorable discharge from the Army at age 21, the future Dr. Allen decided to become a chiropractor himself.

After nearly 36 years in practice, Dr. Seth Allen embraces the fullness of physical medicine in his approach to patient care. He integrates the principles and techniques of chiropractic, physical therapy, acupuncture, nutrition, and physical rehabilitation in his holistic approach for each individual patient.
Services
In many cases, a combination of traditional and low-force techniques are used depending upon the preferences of the patient and the efficacy of that approach. We have found in many cases that a low-force approach utilizing the Arthro Stim instrument works better than standard manual adjusting procedures.
Dr. Allen is a 1986 graduate of the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture. He is certified by the Colorado Board of Chiropractic Examiners to practice acupuncture. He treats skeletal and non-skeletal conditions with acupuncture. Dr. Allen's ability to use acupuncture along with chiropractic is what fundamentally differentiates him from other providers.
Spinal Decompression Therapy is a relatively new approach to the treatment of neck or back pain often associated with herniated or bulging discs. It is a non-surgical, traction-based therapy for the relief of neck pain, back pain, tingling in the arms, sciatica, and other conditions. Though frequently used for the treatment of spinal disc disorders, it is not limited to these conditions alone.
Low Level Lasers are widely used in chiropractic, physical medicine, and adjunctively with acupuncture. Low level lasers increase circulation, reduce inflammation, reduce pain, improve joint mobility, and speed healing. Low Level or "Cold" lasers do not heat the tissue. They stimulate healing at the cellular level.
Our office uses two types of electrical muscle stimulation: interferential current and low volt AC current. It is thought that interferential permeates the tissues more effectively and may be more effective treating pain than other forms of electrical stimulation.

We also use a type of electrical muscle stimulation called low volt AC current which may work better for muscle strain, spasm, and conditions such as plantar fascitis, ankle and knee pain.
