Like the small town that it serves, The Harvest at Fowler, a 30-unit Residential Care Facility for the Elderly, mirrors the local sense of concern for the safety and well being of each resident. Couple these attributes of small town life with the reassurance of "metropolitan" services like hospitals, shopping, restaurants and theaters only minutes away, and one finds Fowler on the map, in the heart of California's great Central Valley.
Our experienced staff take the time to know you, your needs and your preferences. Our approach to care revolves around you. We invest in knowing your likes-the activities you enjoy, the meals you prefer, the care you need-in order to support you and your health. Our Activities Director is focused on providing engaging and rich experiences for our residents.
Assisted Living 2 - All the amenities included in Level 1 (Above) plus frequent "cueing" additional personal hygiene assistance, increased supervision and guidance. Level 2 residents may have a diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease or dementia, but are able to live compatibly with other residents in the Assisted Living area of The Harvest.
Before moving to The Harvest my wife and I lived in an independent living community, we lived there for two years. When my wife was diagnosed with Dementia, it was no longer safe for us to live there because my wife would walk away from our apartment. So we talked to the community staff and they recommended The Harvest at Fowler.

The Harvest would be a great choice for your loved one if you are looking for a place that is like a home away from home. I was caring for my mom for months prior to and following when she was placed on hospice, but it was becoming too much for me continue doing (if you're a caregiver reading this, you know that caregiving can be overwhelming). Her hospice provider recommended The Harvest in Fowler, which was very convenient for us because I live in Kingsburg. In addition to standard assisted living, The Harvest also has a certain number of rooms that are classified as hospice care. Alex,

Two years ago my sisters and I had to make the decision to place our mother in an assisted living facility. We chose The Harvest in Fowler, California, which was convenient to me, since I live in Fowler. This was the best decision we could've made. The Harvest was always clean and well kept. Most of the employees were long term, which says a lot about management and the owners.
