Certified Master Well Driller, Dave Kelly, has spent 47 years working at Jones Well Drilling. The company was founded in Harford County in 1965 by the late Earl Jones. Dave was the first employee, the Vice President, and the Operations Manager for 23 years prior to becoming the owner.
After retiring from 13 years as President of the Maryland-Delaware Water Well Association, Dave was appointed by Governor Larry Hogan to The Maryland State Board of Well Drillers to serve a two year term.In this role, he upholds the regulations and standards of the well drilling industry in Maryland.

Came home from WV and had no water, left message with after hours lady and she said she would have them call first thing Monday morning. They didn't call but were here at 830 sharp to help us out. We needed a new pump and they did it that day. Can't get better service than that. Thank goodness we now have water. Great customer service

Critical: Professionalism, Responsiveness
After coming to chlorinate the well, they have left us with no water for over 3 weeks because of needing a new well. I never heard from them, very unresponsive. Once I decided to find a new well driller, they send me a large invoice. Extremely unreliable and unresponsive.

My first and only well drilling experience was with Jones. It was difficult to reach my well drilling location and had to access it through someone else's property. Dave Kelly and his crews really worked with me to make sure no damage was done to the driveway and as little damage as possible was done to the lawn. They were fast, polite and thoughtful. There is unquestionable value in dealing with Jones. I will have them back to install geothermal when it is time.

A huge thank you to Jones Well Drilling. I called them first thing this morning before they opened. The owner called me back and was at my house exactly when he said he would. He assessed the situation, quoted me a price, and said as soon as the rain let’s up, he’d have someone out to pull my old pump and replace it. I expected my yard to be tore up. Nope! They pulled it, replaced it, and all the wire which, was in pretty bad shape, and had me back up with running water in no time. Everyone I encountered was courteous, very professional. If you’re on a well, and you need service, call them

I had no water from my well on Monday morning. Called Jones Well Service that Monday morning and David Kelly, owner, and his brother came to the house about two or three hours later and determined I needed a new control box, they had one, and installed it in 30 minutes,
and I had water. They couldn't have been nicer or more responsive. If ever I have another water problem, they are the one I will call.

Jones came to us by a friend. We had noticed probably over a month a slow decrease in water pressure. We troubleshooted till we realized we needed a professional. David came out & did a couple tests, pulled our well pump up & thankfully it was a hole/leak in the pump & not a bad well pump or bad well. He fixed it & we got GOOD water pressure again. Would recommend his company.
