They are either scam artist or just incompetent. Have been a customer for 15 + years. Never had an issue so system was always in he background. Recently had a smoke alarm fail. Called My Alarm Center and was told that I could put up with the false alarms till we could be put on the service schedule or change the detector out and call to confirm a Jew detector was in place. Did the latter and called as instructed and now told that only their alarms work and only when installed by them. Called custom support and told it might be connected and if I could light a small fire they could test the system

The agent that sold me the system forged my initials on the microprint where I was locked into a 36 month contract. It was very clearly not my initials. My signature and initials were on the last page of the contract. It was never explained to me. When I talked to the rep about the forgery she just said over and over again that I signed the bottom page so I was liable to the contract. I asked what they were going to do about the forgery and she would only say she wasn't there and didn't know what to do about the situation. I hope others won't make the same mistake as I! Please

This company hit my credit card like it was a rented mule. It took me two calls, two emails and one very threatening letter copied to the security company ACS to get them to stop billing me. We had moved and you would think that after 10 years they would be accommodating and responsive. Nope. Guess they fell in love with the automatic payment. If you use them or if your security company uses them as a vendor be warned ... saying goodbye will be much harder than saying hello.

I am in the process of looking for a new alarm company. My Alarm Center has the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. Every time we've had to call them we've been put on hold for what seems like forever, and then passed on from one person to another constantly.

I called the Alarm.com center today 3 times. The first rep said I had to talk to account services. She attempted to transfer me. After 30 min I hung up. I called back, same exact scenario. I called again, same exact scenario. There seems to be two entities: My Alarm Center and Alarm.com, both with same phone number. In either case it's Keystone Cops. I'm looking as we speak into other services. This company is unconscionable. Worst service on the planet. The alarm itself works fine, it's the inept, pathetic customer service and run around.

This company deserves negative stars. What a mess - poor customer service and business/billing practices that reflect the incompetence of the people running the company. I can't help but think there is something nefarious going on here.

Avoid this company. Was with them for years then when I needed to change the phone number they tried to charge me $$$. Customer service sucks. Also when i finally arranged for a tech to come out they made me wait 3weeks. I took off work. They were supposed to be here 10-12am. They called and said now after 12. Then they called and said 4pm. After 530pm they said they were not coming and to reschedule for 3weeks away. Just go with Simply Safe security system and save your blood pressure and avoid My Alar

Stay away!! Like other reviews, my alarm company was sold to my alarm center. I tried contacting them to cancel my account, as I didn't want to be on a national chain. They didn't respond or pick up the phone (sat on hold for 30+ minutes multiple times, requested call backs, emailed every email address I could find). They kept sending emails saying my account was past due and would be sent to collections, despite the fact that I had been trying to cancel for months. After 8 years with My Alarm Center, we sold our house and requested to have the service turned off on 7/25/19. Today is 7/31/19 and the service is STILL on and in our name. I explained to a rep that we will not be held liable if something happens to the property that we no longer own because of their refusal to turn off security services as requested. This is absolutely unacceptable! I spoke to a rep on Monday and she said the services would be turned off and they aren't. She literally hung up the phone on me. What a way to treat long time customers. I would not recommend this company to anyone

The "24/7 customer service hotline" is an absolute JOKE. Our entire neighborhood suffered from a 24 hour power outage, and once power was reconnected our Security System was inactive. We were told to call this hotline and someone would walk us through the process of reconnecting our security and alarm system.

ZERO RATING FOR RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL

Not only customer care is rude , he refused to talk to me as I wanted to cancel service
I am a physician in a local hospital and got called by wife eating medical alert got activated for no reason as ambulance came
Tried to call them for 3 hrs last night and today 5 times and can't reach anybody
Only time somebody picks up phone is if you say cancel emergency alarm and then they transfer
I actually got a quote for another property I was about to install this system but no way
