University General Dentists is a private practice that was established in 1998 (Go Vols!) at the University of Tennessee Medical Center as an arm of the University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine's dentistry residency program. Williams and Wilson were residents of the UT Graduate School of Medicine together.

Experience was great. Very knowledgeable dentist and staff! Everyone was super friendly and helped me get through the anxiety and fear! I got my tooth filled and everything went great. I never thought I’d be taking time to give a review (much less five stars) for a dental appointment because I hate HATE going. I’m terrified and it causes such anxiety. However, Mac did a fantastic job with my cleaning and exam. He gets straight to the point and explains what he is doing and why. More importantly, he didn’t beat around the bush to tell me exactly what I need to do to prevent future issues (key word today would be floss). And Dr. Williams is great (calming) too! Thanks for making this is a visit that eases my fear. I know it will impact my upcoming visits and lessen my anxiety

I haven’t been to this dentist in a little over 5 years, but I am still reaping the consequences of going here. After a baseball bat to the face, I was told I needed a root canal and a crown on my front tooth. I cannot count how many times I went to this office because of the following reasons: They couldn’t get the shade of the crown correct, the temporary kept coming off, the intern never seated my PERMANENT crown with PERMANENT cement. This is just naming a few of the problems. After having my permanent crown come off for the last time, I had to go back in to get it re-cemented. Knowing
