TERRIBLE! We are waiting to get seated and the waiters are walking by and do not acknowledge us to get seated (not as busy, several tables open). Yet, they acknowledge people walking up to get their orders for take out. Never coming back here!!!

The food was good, but the service was lousy, and that's why my rating is as low as it is. Things that frustrated me:

1. The server told asked us, "Are you sure?" when telling her if she could resend a coke and Diet Coke, as she made a mistake when handing them out. Trust that we both tasted our drinks and knew it wasn't what we ordered.

2. The server was too busy to acknowledge us calling her. As she walked by, I started asking "could we have refills", but she just zoomed by with hardly any acknowledgement. I know she saw me and heard me, but she decided not to

This was a great find. Found it accidentally in the shopping center behind all the construction on Monte vista. The food here is amazing. Prices are very fair. Due to Covid they're serving in to go containers on paper plates. I was a bit dismayed but it's easy to take left overs in the to go boxes. There if not a bad item on the menu. Flavor and quality is outstanding. This may be the best Chinese food outside of downtown La Chinatown and better than several there also. They have healthy brown rice as well as hard to find traditional items. I recommend this restaurant with 5*

Food is always fresh and yummy. The staff is awesome and the place is always clean and tidy. We love the honey walnut shrimp. Its always a must for us.

Luv the house fried rice. Haven't gotten anything else there yet but im sure I will.

Absolutely love this place! Everything I've ever order is delicious. My favorite though is the chicken chop suey! My son loves the house noodles and shrimp in lobster sauce however honestly anything you order will be wonderful!

Here we are a year later and Unfortunately my post is quite different than last year's.This place should be grateful for the amount of business that they have and that they survived this pandemic when many others have closed down. We ordered food online today since we tried to call the phone number which was not working for approximately 45 minutes. We placed our take out order at 5:45 PM to be ready at 6:00pm. When we arrived at 6:00pm they had not even had our order started Apparently we and several other customers had placed orders online and none were filled. The owner started complaining

Love the food, would give them more stars if she would go back to plates instead of the fast-food plastic take out packaging.

Steamed fish is perfect for when you want a hearty and comforting dish that's not heavy. It's cooked perfectly.

Orange chicken had crisp crunch from the deep fry before they toss it in the sauce so it contributes to a great texture while eating.


You get exactly what you see with the lo mein. Tender beef, just the right bite in the noodle, not too oily, but still pretty standard lo mein. Good but I'd also recommend swapping out with one if their other great dishes like the sizzling rice soup, beef and broccoli, or shrimp in lobster sauce.

Went on Sunday. 2 people working the floor. We got an incorrect order that was fixed fairly quickly. A complete missing order. Missed drinks. Only a few other tables occupied. A few coming in for pickup. The food was alright, don't see returning again.

My family and I decided to give this restaurant a try and it was delicious! Being Asian I actually like the Chinese food here. It's more American Chinese food and not authentic Chinese but it's bomb! And the prices are decent for the huge portions. I personally like the chow mein and Mongolian beef.

Some of the best Chinese food in the area. They never disappoint with any of their dishes. It's our favorite go-to place for Chinese.

They have alway been a fantastic ŕestarant since the day they opened 6 or more years ago. The consistency of their dishes are always the same Everlast

Only gave it 1 star because the food is good but the service was so awful tonight! My family and I went around 830 and they close at 9..the lady let us come in and sit..but the whole time we were there she was rushing us! They turned off half the lights while we were still in the middle of eating!! By 9:05 we decided to stop eating and just pack it to go because they started moping the floors before we left and my mother is 67 so that was so dangerous and unprofessional to sweep and mop around us while eating! The lady was telling at customers trying to order to go...Such a horrible experience

Delicious Chinese cuisine lives here. The reviews are accurate... Dragon 99 serves hot, fresh and great tasting food.

The dine in situation is a hybrid in the sense that you can order at the counter and your food is brought out in to-go containers alongside paper plates and plastic utensils. You can then enjoy your meal in the dining room from the disposable containers.

Seems wasteful to me, but its efficient and someone in Sacramento has created an environment that has made some businesses consider extreme countermeasures that supercede common sense and environmental stewardship.

Ordered takeout. Pretty quick. Food was good not great. Place seemed clean.

Definitely my favorite Chinese takeout spot in the area. Our go-tos are the beef and broccoli, shrimp fried rice, and orange chicken. The portion sizes are huge for the price and the food is always really really good. I loveeee the beef and broccoli. It's flavorful and pairs really well with the fried rice.

We stumbled upon this place last night when hunting for food while every place we went to had over an hour wait. Really glad we did as this place was great.

We got their dinner for two deal which was great and plenty of food for us. We got the chicken soup and hot and sour, chicken satay appetizer with Mongolian beef and chicken in garlic sauce.

Pros: you order take out but can sit inside to eat. They give it in to go containers. Covid compliant with masks and sanitizers in the place with social distancing. The owners were amazing and really nice. Great portion size, good tasting food, lots

Lunch special is great and not ridiculously priced. Bout $10 for entree side and soup. Ever meal comes with a spring roll and a naked dumpling (I have no idea what you call it. The stuffing no noodle) It's enough to share. They are observing COVID restrictions so take out only. There online system for ordering works well and they follow extra instructions you give to the T. Nice folks

Honey Walnut Shrimp is my fav

I read the Yelp reviews and ordered shrimp fried rice. That taste, texture, combination of flavors...all of it...is the epitome of Chinese Shrimp fried rice!
I will be coming back repeatedly just for the shrimp fried rice alone.

My husband and I are big Chinese food lovers, but grew up on the east coast, so our version of "good Chinese" food is very different than what is typically offered here in SoCal. One, we like our food made fresh and not sitting under a heat lamp all day. Two, General Tso's may not be authentic to many but it's a staple for us, so we need that too. Three, the fried rice needs to be...good. Not just like a slightly cooked rice with no flavor. Four, the wonton soup should have a flavorful broth - not just some dumplings in water with veggies.
