Inside these doors lies history, patina, color, texture, pieces hand crafted and touched by generations. In this culture of big box stores and furniture catalogues aren't we all craving character and authenticity? We are a treasure trove of passionately crafted European and American vintage architecturals and dcor that have become rare and represent lost arts.

If we do not have what you are looking for, we are happy to locate it for you or fabricate a custom piece. We welcome you to visit our showroom and surround yourself with a stunning curation of these objects of art dating back to the late 1700's. We have amassed an exceptional mix of European and American architectural antiques over the last 37 years, hand picking each treasure.
Services
For more than 30 years, Metropolitan Artifacts has offered an exceptional mix of European and American architectural antiques. We are direct importers and unlike other dealers who have staff buyers, our owners hand select each item in our inventory. We have many items to choose from in each architectural category.
Rent from our extensive inventory that includes styles spanning from the 18th century to the Art Deco eras for movies and events. We are one of the country's largest suppliers of antique ornamental iron. In many cases, old iron costs the same as new iron, and the quality and designs of old, vintage iron are far superior.

Super cool store with lots to look at and BIG items all around, but the prices are quite steep and feel like they'd be better in Buckhead or Paces Ferry.
Still worth a stop.

After inquiring about pricing for a few pieces he proceeded to tell me that this store obviously wasn’t for me and that I needed to leave. He actually talked to me like I was Julia Roberts from Pretty Woman. We are talking about $3,000 old wooden doors that we negotiated to $1,500 (which

Great place to see architectural salvage of high quality from U.S., France, Europe, etc. Statuary, railings, pediments, huge ornate doors, fountains, fence gates, mantels, columns, banisters, wrought iron, many types of lighting, fixtures, doorknobs and other hardware. Very cool place to stroll around and see fine craftsmanship from the past. Designers love this place for its vintage antique charm.
