Nice spot to grab a cup of Joseph on Brady. Good food every time I've eaten there too. Apparently there are vegan options, but I usually go for meat in my food. Not that there is anything wrong with being a vegan...I'll eat vegan veggies with my meat all day. In fact, I think many vegan items compliment meat very well. For example the BLT. It's pretty much all vegan stuff in it besides the bacon and mayo and maybe the bread. I think its fair to say I'm partially vegan since almost all of my meals have some vegan items in them.

What a cute aclectic spot! The staff was very sweet. Tonnnns of drink options (tea, coffee, etc.)
We sat outside which was fun to people watch.
The asiago bagel was delicious and toasted to perfection. The side of potatoes were perfectly cooked and seasoned no condiments needed.
Would highly recommend and we'd go back!!

Sometimes you're between 2 menu items and payday is a week away so you just go with the cheaper one. The universe must have heard my desire for a bagel sandwich because the staff at Brewed Cafe made me one instead of the bagel with cream cheese. What a blessing on a horribly snowy day when every other Brady street cafe was closed. Excellent coffee too, please tip these folks well next time you visit!

Brewed Cafe is the sort of place I think you will get or you won't. It's in the bottom of a big old house on Brady St and it has a sort of magical quality that always makes me think of a proverbial bohemian coffee shop.
With the pandemic they do have a safety plan so there are a smattering of tables to sit at inside. Better than that is sitting in the front or sit patio outside on Brady. Even during the winter people you can sit out with their coffee tea or whatever and it's a nice place to watch the world go by.

I stopped in while waiting on a friend. I am from out of town and just happened upon it. I ordered an iced green tea and a cornbread strawberry muffin. The tea was super tasty and the muffin was unique. The young woman behind the counter was very friendly, patient, and helpful. I utilized one of their outside tables until my friend called. All in all it was a very pleasant experience.

Saturday morning at around 10a and got a table of our choice immediately. We ordered what we wanted at the counter and picked up our drinks at the other side of the counter. Food were delivered to your table.
My order included a classic breakfast (toast of my choice and 3-egg scrambled eggs) and a tall latte. My rye toasts were burned and the eggs were over cooked and dried.
Latte was okay. Service was okay. We bused our table after done eating. The place was neat but the food was just ok.

Saw the Youtube video posted by Daniel D.(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ebShl68b0U&t=308s) and was appalled at the way the staff from this place treated him. The woman with the shorn head used both hands to give him the finger. The fat guy who had been inside actually went outside to continue harassing Daniel D., as well. A cafe like this run by people like that is a disgrace. I would never step foot in there. In addition, the guy with the bicycle did walk in off the street and went behind the counter to fill his coffee, then left. Methinks the hygiene is nasty, at best. Consider too, the

Good food but rude people. I think I was the 1st person in their For the day. The Counter person went in the back room on the phone with someone must have asked The person if anyone was in there and the counter person said yes just some older guy is in here. If you talk about your customers make sure you say things a little quieter.

Lots of yummy options that could also be vegan, which made it hard just to choose 1 thing! I got the tofu burrito and it was delicious (and huge!). I also got a soy hazelnut latte- creamy, not overly sweet, and a generous size.
I ate on a cozy couch in the room off to the size and was in bliss. Staff was very friendly and attentive and it looks as if they make everything fresh and onsite.
Would definitely recommend for a coffee, a meal or both!
