The Children's Center of Lexington was the first full-time early education and care center in Lexington, Massachusetts. We are proud to continue that legacy as we serve families in Lexington and surrounding towns. We loved our time at Children's Center of Lexington!
Our child was supported in his growth emotionally, socially and academically through a curriculum that was led by the students' interest but demonstrated the endless curiosity and energy of the teachers as well. He's a brighter, more confident, thoughtful kid thanks to the Children's Center of Lexington community.

Services
At Children's Center of Lexington, we're a fully equipped child care center for children from 15 months to pre-kindergarten. We have preschool classes and extended child care options available. Our team focuses on creating child-centered, friendly and safe classrooms for children to develop emotionally, mentally and intellectually.
We pride ourselves with the longevity of our staff of 16 classroom teachers. One having been at CCL for 38 years, and two for 21 years and the remaining for 2-15 years. Our teachers are highly educated with Associates, Bachelors and Masters Degrees. All are certified by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care and are certified in first aid and CPR.
The Children's Center of Lexington utilizes the Kaymbu App for parent communication. This app allows teachers and administrators to be in contact with families. In the toddler rooms, parents will receive a daily report containing information about your child's eating, diapering and daily classroom activities.

Its all about the kids and the teachers at CCL. My daughter has been going there since she was old enough to attend and to get out of one of the corporate daycares. I feel so strongly about how great this school is that I am also on the board, as it is a non-profit. They treat the teachers with the respect that they deserve and don't send them home without pay when the numbers are down for the day. If the numbers are down, our kids get more interaction with more teachers. Did I mention how great the teachers are!

My family recently moved to Lexington and we needed to quickly find a good child care center for our 2 year old daugther. We did our homework, visited several of the centers in the area, and decided that the Children's Center of Lexington was the perfect fit for our family. We loved the central Lexington location, the easy accessibility, the incredible student to teacher ratios, and the intimate 'community' setting.
Our daughter has now been with CCL for six months and we've been thrilled with the outcome. The CCL faculty is tremendous and the parent community is supportive

My daughter has been attending CCL for a year and half and she is blossoming. She loves her teachers (and is always making them presents/crafts!) and has a great cadre of friends. I was put off a bit by the stairs and the appearance at first, but the character of the school is wonderful. The playground is like being at camp while being easy walking distance to town center they take walks for lunches in town (Marios anyone?) to the library for truck day, walks to other playgrounds, down the bike path and the field trips to the circus and farms are always a hit. The long room is big enough for
