My name is Monica Crispin, born and raised in Boston, MA. I'm currently a student at Urban College of Boston majoring in Early Education. I have been a part of the Artisan team since 2016. I am very fortunate to have created close bonds with every child as they reached many milestones in their early years.
Hi! My name is Beth Norman and I'm currently entering my fourth year at Artisan! This will be my third year as a toddler teacher and second year as a lead teacher. I have also have worked in both the preschool and infant rooms as well. I Love that Artisan has given me the opportunity work with all age groups and I feel that I have become a stronger teacher because of that.
Hi! My name is Marina Ciardi. I am so excited to be a part of the Artisan family! I have my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. I have worked with children for the past six years, from being a nanny to teaching at an after-school program and being an aide at an integrated preschool! I love to watch children grow and see them interact with one another every day.
I am Julie Penta, the Director at Artisan Childcare Center in Woburn. In 2012 I joined the Artisan team as the Lead Pre-K Teacher where I developed and implemented the first Pre-K Program at Artisan! In 2014 became the director of our newly opened Newton location and in 2018-2019, I oversaw both the Newton and Woburn programs.
Monica Rodrigues was a founding member of the staff at Artisan and was respected and loved by parents and coworkers alike. Her passion for working with children was evident in every project she designed, every song she sang and every hug she gave. Monica touched the lives of countless families during her time at Artisan, many of whom gave touching feedback upon her passing.
