Understanding what preventative measures exist is an important facet to Foothills Urogynecology's efforts in helping our patients maintain a high quality of life. We want to work with you to develop a personalized plan that is tailored to fit your lifestyle and future goals. Menopause doesn't have to mean that you suffer with hot flashes, mood swings, weight gain, or abstinence.
We understand our patients' perspective and more importantly, we have focused our care on urogynecology issues. Dr. Dunn is one of the few physicians who specializes in female pelvic floor and gynecology problems with a sub-specialty in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery. She's practiced in the Denver-metro area since 1985 and brings a wealth of experience to her compassionate care approach.

Overactive bladder is a common condition causing a sudden urge to urinate, which results from problems with the function of bladder-storage. This can lead to the involuntary loss of urine (incontinence). Overactive bladder occurs when muscles in the bladder contract involuntarily, even if the bladder may not be full.

Dr. Dunn is sadly a dying breed of fantastic physicians who take extraordinary care of every patient she treats. I have been a patient of hers since 2009. I have struggled with UTI’s most of my adult life and if I ever feel like I am having symptoms, all I have to do is call the office and they get me right in. I hope she never retires so she can continue to provide the wonderful care every woman deserves! God bless Dr. Dunn and her brilliant staff!

I found this practice through my insurance - Cigna. Dr. Dunn and her staff are caring and professional and answered all my questions, including calling me on a timely basis to share test results. More importantly, Dr. Dunn is knowledgeable about women's issues and provided options that no other doctor offered. I would recommend her to others for preventive and specialized care.

This is a professional staff that I would highly recommend. Dr. Dunn is very thorough and cares about her patients. I had been to more specialists than I can count over the course of three years due to the pain I was experiencing. I had left a VM for the medical staff to call me back over a prescription and the nurse Sabrina called me back late in the evening to talk about my issues. I was going over everything and then she said Lisa I believe this is what you have and schedule the procedure to be done to diagnosis my issue. I was supposed to be seen today for a new patient appt. After checking in I was not told the doctor was running behind. Arrived at 11: 10am (ish) for an 11:15am appt. As someone who works in healthcare I understand that it can get busy and appts can run long. however, the receptionists did not inform me that the doctor was running behind. At 11:45 I asked them to reschedule me. I am giving them a second chance but I run on a tight schedule and would have liked better communication from the staff. Will provide another review after my new appt. Fingers Crossed.

I am so grateful to Dr. Dunn for performing my bladder prolapse procedure. She was recommended by my OBGYN. Dr. Dunn is a very kind and knowledgeable surgeon. I no longer feel discomfort with my pelvic floor. I am very grateful for Dr. Dunn for making me feel good again. I highly recommend her for her incredible skills and professionalism. Absolutely love Dr. Dunn and her staff! Every visit I am warmly greeted and Dr. Dunn is just so personal and caring that I actually look forward to going to the doctor now. She has helped manage my Interstitial Cystitis which has improved my quality of life tremendously. I brought my elderly mother to Foothills Urogynecology due to some complications. I must say how impressed I was by the staff, especially Sabrina. Sabrina made my mother so comfortable from the time she was escorted to her room and prior to meeting Dr. Dunn, who was amazing too. Sabrina has such a kind and caring way about her. My mother felt right at home and with the care Sabrina and Dr. Dunn provided she was very pleased. Also, she appreciated the follow-up call from Sabina about her lab results, and throughly explaining what steps she needed to take next. Thank you Sabrina!

I was so turned off by the rude and unprofessionalism of the front desk receptionist, Samantha that I won't be coming in for my appointment. While experiencing a potentially dangerous and concerning issue - she showed absolutely zero concern, compassion or responsibility. Because my original appointment was still weeks away when I asked what I should do regarding my current issues and if I could speak with a nurse practitioner, etc. she said that they did not have one and that the only person I could speak with was the doctor and that she was in surgery. I found Dr. Dunn quite by accident at a health and wellness event and she was the guest speaker. After her talk, I realized the importance of having a gynecologist. I'd not had one and I was experiencing stress incontinence and it turned out that Dr. Dunn was exactly the type of doctor I need, an urogynecologist. I had multiple issues after my previous doctor did not remove all of my endometriosis. I also have interstitial cystitis with ulcers. I have been to multiple doctors in both urology and gynecology. So far Dr. Dunn has been amazing. Like a warrior! She took the time to get to know my issues during our first visit - something that often feels rushed with most doctors. After being seen by a more than a few providers throughout southern Colorado and getting no where I opted to do my own research and see where that got me. And I am so beyond words thankful to have come in touch with Terry Dunn. She is the only provider who made me feel at ease, offered me a surgical plan of care-that that no other doctor did. I didn't feel pressured, but I knew that with me being so young this was the best option for me, and was shocked that my diagnosis was not discovered sooner.

I had a failed bladder sling procedure from another doctor, so I came to Dr. Dunn for a second look. She was absolutely wonderful. She did the procedure, and it has held up and worked wonderfully. I was in the hospital overnight, and she made sure to check on me and made sure all my meds were available as soon as she scheduled me, so that I would have them as soon as I was home from surgery. This part of my review would be 10 stars, if I could give that many.

Dr, Terry Dunn rescued me from my overactive, leaking bladder, and she rebuilt the area where my bladder is positioned, She installed an implant I cannot feel (unless I want to), which is highly effective at regulating and normalizing urinary urge. Dr. Dunn is fantastic. She is very knowledgeable and really spent time explaining things to me. The office is located outside busy downtown Denver so it made it easier to get to with no traffic and easy parking in front of the building. I would definitely recommend this practice to anyone looking for a gynecologist in the Denver area.

Be sure to look up Dr. Dunn on the DORA site. She has been disciplined multiple times. Also, she has lost the ability to practice urology and can only do gynecology now. Plus, in the deleted reviews, you can see one from "Terry D." This was the only review from that user, Dr. Dunn herself. It was a glowing review. Apparently Yelp found out and removed it. What a dishonest person!

Somehow, even though there are literally no other patients, they will make you wait half an hour in your room (twice). Then I was rushed through my appt, and pushed out the door. Overall, I'm leaving my second appointment in tears because I felt that I wasn't respected or listened to. Go somewhere else.

After having surgery with a different Urogynecologist, I had a lot of trouble with my sling and was having serious bladder issues. I went to see doctor Dunn. Her office staff was very warm and she was so helpful. She got me in for surgery quickly and was very available throughout the whole process, answering every question I had before and after the operation. She even gives her surgery patients her cell phone number so they can directly contact her on the night or weekends. If you need bladder surgery, go see Dr. Dunn. I wish I would have had my operation done here in the first place!!

I went through a bit of a scare medically and I came to this practice for a second opinion. I was not able to see Dr. Dunn, but I did get in to see her NP Merry. She was really great and assured me that I had other options besides surgery. I did have to have some pretty expensive ultrasounds done, but in the end I now know that I am fine.
