They have the worst personnel and administrative. You can't get them to "Fax" Medical information requested from another doctor. They claim that they don't accept "Faxes". They throw away everything that comes in without reading it... If you need something sign from a doctor or information from that office, IT MUST BE "HANDCARRIED" OR "MAILED"...Even though they say to hand carry the request, they still manage to loose it and 3 months later we are still going back and forth to the office to try to get the requested information.

Update:11/9/2021
These guys give you appointments on days the Dr. is off and when you show up they reschedule you. They do this very often. They also cancel appointments with very little notice. Nothing has changed.
Update: One of the doctors here (Brian August)just got 15 charges including 5 deaths. My moms primary (Caballero)referred my mom to this doctor. These guys are really a piece of work. Stay away!!!!!!!!!
If you really care for your health or the health of a loved one, please avoid this place at all cost. One of the worst, if not the worst healthcare providers. Appointments don't mean

I have been going to this office for a few years and find it to be amicable but highly inefficient. I witnessed a condescending verbal altercation that took place, between a nurse and a patient, that was completely unacceptable and offensive. They frequently cancel long-standing appointments and reschedule for later dates, if at all. It's almost impossible to get a call back for refills on medications. There is often a lack of communication betweenn the doctors and personnel and updating medical files. There is definitely room for improvement and better management and training needed in this medical

Staff is AWFUL...to say the least my mom was scheduled a follow up after her last visit. I called to reschedule and the girl tells me that she had no appointment. I was upset, and the girl argues that i shouldn't be rude. I was upset at the incompetence of these people. The nerve of the staff to still argue that i should not be upset. I will be looking for another dr for my mother! 😡😡😡

I work with 6 doctors and when I went to this office I could not believe how Dr. Leyva talks to his assistant. I wonder if that's why they don't last maybe customer service is not a quality you need in order to work in a busy Dr's office. I have gone with my family member who is disabled and I always see a different assistant. I work as a patient acct specialist with my Dr's and I love it
I would hate working in this type of environment. Good thing my family member has changed provider we will no longer be returning. I'm sorry for the assistants I truly am!!!

The worst appointment I had. I was referred through the VA to see Dr. Cruz, Perez Franchesca. Upon arrival there was no greeting of the day, I was given forms to fill out. After completion the clerk insisited I write my full SSN. I explained it's not required since she has the referral. She went and got another clerk who said they must have it for me to be seen. I called VA and they confirmed its not required and asked to speak to the clerk, she rolled her eyes and walked away. I left the facility and told VA to cancel the appointment and find another provider and give me the number to report this

I have a referral from my primary to their office and with Covid everything has been done via email. I let them know I don't have a way to print out. I asked to email it to them and they said they would accept it that way. Cuz they don't have emails or printers in their office??? I had to cancel....I guess I am back to looking for a doctor to help with my Lupus *sigh*

This is a clinic where mostly all the patients are seen for joint problems and the elevator doesn't work down stairs. You must go up several stairs, making very difficult for people in wheel chairs, walkers and canes. When you approach the ladies down stairs opposite side on the reception depending on the mood they just shrug and say they don't know. If they are willing they call someone to help and take you around to the other side of the building where another elevator is. It would help everyone if this elevator could be fixed.

I love the Drs here. They give you their full attention even though the place is usually packed. I understand that because they give each patient their time, the waiting room is usually packed. I've never had problems with their staff in the front or back desks. I have been treated well by everyone there. I see 3 Drs there and they always treat me well and listen to me.

My husband had an appointment at 12:30 pm. We arrived at 12 pm, filled out the form, sat in the waiting room. He was finally called in at 2 pm and placed in the exam room and waited 35 minutes before he just left. Not one single staff member came in to inform him that Dr. Leyva was running late. Nothing. Not one single word! What's even worse, not one single member of the staff noticed he left or called to ask what happened!! He took time off of work to see this doctor and lost 3 hours pay and for what? The doctor and staff are the most inconsiderate so called professionals we have ever encountered

The receptionist was helpful in making the initial appointment, and everyone else I interacted with in the office itself was professional and helpful. Highly highly recommend Dr Cruz if you’re there for a rheumatologist. She really listens and makes you feel like she really cares about what you have going on, and like she wants to see you better.

I only gave it one star because the front desk staff was professional and nice. But other that that, do not waste your time coming here. They have absolutely no respect for their patients. They do not care about your time. They honestly just plain do not care. They do not call to confirm appointments and you might as well go into the office to talk to someone cause the phone is pretty much a joke. This place is a joke and not a funny one.

The office staff are the rudest I have EVER ENCOUNTERED! The doctors seem stressed, overworked, and grouchy. Office staff shamelessly argue with patients. They make appointment errors often, not only with myself but, with other patients. I know this because they argue freely with patients in front of waiting patients. Doctors treat their assistants like trash in front of patients. There is just overall chaos and low moral there. Not a place to try and recover and heal.

Good doctor - lousy phone access - endless rhetoric listing hours you can CALL and hours they are open - different days and times - on hold FOREVER after yocu finally get through - doctor assistant's DIRECT line NEVER gets answered - spent 25 minutes trying to get new RX sent to pharmacy that should have been sent by doctor on day of appointment. TOTALLY NERVE-WRACKING!
