Our waiting room offers a large window in order to provide view access to classes in progress. We have private men and women's changing rooms. We offer complimentary wireless internet throughout the facility.
Our zebra mats are disinfected after every class and steam sanitized every Sunday, cleanliness and safety are among our top priorities. We offer a values based kids program developed by Alex, who has over 10 years experience teaching in the public school system. We are affiliated with one of New Jersey's most recognized names in Jiu Jitsu BJJ, Jamie Cruz.

Gael Force Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) is a Jiu Jitsu school in Morris County. It is located less than a mile from Route 80 on Route 206 in Flanders, NJ. We are housed in a 3000 square foot, modern BJJ facility. This class is designed to teach the basic movements and techniques of Jiu Jitsu. In this class you can expect a 10 to 15 minute warm-up, 35 minutes of technique and 10 minutes of positional training. In this class we take the foundation learned in fundamentals class and expand upon it. You can expect a 10 minute warm up, 20 minutes of technique and 30 minutes of live training.

If you are hesitant about starting bjj don't be! Gael Force BJJ is a non-intimdiating environment where everyone is welcomed and respected regardless of skill or experience. Alex the instructor and owner is an extremely kind and down to earth guy. He takes the time to get to know each student and teaches you to the best of your abilities. I'm happy I started my bjj journey here. Highly recommend.

This is the ideal place for those who are starting their journey in the universe of bjj or who already have a high level. Gael Force became like a family to me. Alex, the owner and instructor has an abundance of knowledge and expresses it easily! No matter your age, there will always be space in this family. I'm so grateful to feel welcomed by everyone and I'm looking forward to continue my journey.

Best kids program in the area. I signed my 7 year old son up at Gael Force and was instantly impressed with how Coach Alex & Coach Adam handled teaching young children self defense. Both Coaches have the knowledge of dealing with all ages of children to show them how to gain self respect, self confidence and discipline in a way that works. The best part is that after being a part of Gael Force, I have found a true sense of family with the other participants and thats hard to find.

Highly recommend this gym for all - beginners to black belts. All the staff and members are so welcoming and willing to teach and learn from each other. Lots of class options that all provide great instruction. If you’re thinking of picking up BJJ, do it! You won’t regret it at Gael Force.

I just started BJJ a month ago and I look forward to going back every class. If you are a female and are nervous starting out, I highly suggest trying the women's class on Saturday morning. It made me feel comfortable and I have no issues partnering with male or female alike. The people I have met are kind, respectful, and dedicated to learning. Alex teaches diligently, step by step, so that we learn in slow motion to build good habit for when things speed up. Overall a great environment and you can't beat the price. 10/10 would highly recommend this school to anyone.

After years of putting off my bjj training, I finally dove in and picked Gael Force. I also signed up my 9 year old son. I should have come here a long time ago. I was nervous coming into a new setting with virtually no martial arts experience to speak of, but Alex and all of the instructors made me feel welcomed and at home. The fellow students are also great and they seem to never forget “being new”. Everyone is so helpful and the camaraderie is awesome. Alex is also awesome with the kids, his way of instruction is so easy to understand.

After a long lay off from training, I joined Gael Force about 2 months ago. I have nothing but positive things to say. Atmosphere is extremely inviting, ego doesn’t exist here, and place is spotless always. Instructors are awesome and explain everything in detail. I absolutely love training here and hope to for years and years to come.

Gael Force is a great place to train. Alex has a way of explaining Jiu Jitsu techniques in a way that’s easy to understand no matter what your learning style is. He is friendly, down-to-earth and takes time to work with you and answer any questions.
There is a nice variety of classes (Jiu Jitsu, kickboxing, women’s only) and convenient hours that work for a variety of schedules. I’ve also taken some classes with other instructors and they have all been top notch.
The gym is spacious, clean, and there is also kid friendly waiting/play room. All good things worth checking out.
