Since 2006, RavenWindow has focused on creating the next generation of smart windows incorporating solar-intuitive transitioning technology. RavenWindow's patented thermochromic filter sets it apart, automatically transitioning to a tinted state during hot conditions to manage solar heat gain, while allowing solar heat flow during cold conditions.
In 2013, we were recognized by the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade as a Colorado company to watch. We're active in our industry, contributing our knowledge in thermochromic technology to lead the way in energy efficiency for both commercial and residential buildings.

Services
RavenWindow transitioning technology is at the heart of our smart windows. It's simple: the RavenWindow thermochromic filter is applied to the inside surface of the exterior glass pane of a double pane window. An air chamber separates the filter from both the interior glass pane and the standard Low-E coating.
The biggest contributor to your home energy waste? Your windows. But they can be big energy savers, too - up to 30% of your annual energy costs. RavenWindow works year-round: in the summer, they block the summer heat and glare to keep your home cooler. In the winter, you'll have access to free solar heat, reducing supplemental heating.
Your investment in your home is one of the largest investments you'll make in your lifetime. Whether you're building a new home or renovating your existing one, choosing the right window can make all the difference - in comfort, protection, and energy savings. Bringing natural light into our environments is instinctual.
Commercial buildings come with challenges, especially when it comes to energy-efficient windows. Traditional windows let in too much heat in the summer and block desired solar gain in the winter. To compensate, HVAC systems work overtime, resulting in higher costs and increased energy consumption. RavenWindow dynamic glass windows respond to changing climactic conditions 24/7.
Whether you are looking for a beautiful energy-efficient window for your home or incorporating windows as an important LEED design detail in a commercial building, we have the right solution. Look through our portfolio to find examples of how RavenWindow improves comfort and dramatically impacts energy use.
