I retained Ms. Hackett after a few negative lawyer experiences. I had a custody case with severe parental alienation with a lot of evidence. After Covid delayed my case, I decided to make a change and brought Carrie in 2 years into a 3 year case.

My ex-husband moved to ATL I was advised to hire attorney in G.A to handle my divorce worse decision I ever made they asked for retainer money and then ghosted me . I kept calling a emailing my assigned attorney they kept telling me she's in court. Never follow up with me no emails I 'm so disappointed I started to think it wasn't a real law firm . Ashley Wine was the GAL in my divorce/custody case. That essentially means that my CHILDREN were her client and she truly deserves negative stars. She had a personal relationship with my husband's attorney and allowed it to terribly bias her judgment and recommendations in the case. My husband had a history of violent, abusive behavior. I was referred to this attorney for an unbundled matter. In family law. After calling and wasting my time on the phone with her assistant or whoever answers, for all I know it was her... She hung up on me when I said I wasn't looking for full counsel.
Don't waste your time with rude people who think they're going to get clients treating people like that. If she acts like that on the phone, you can be scared of what she's going to do in court.

It took almost a year for any movement on my petition in court and that's only because I had to do everything myself that she was suppose to be doing. I found Ashley Wine over the Internet. Her prices seemed reasonable, so I retained her services. But the final outcome of our brief association went terribly wrong, terribly fast. Previous to our hearing in Superior Court, I instructed Ms. Wine to include a specific name, central to our written agreement with the Plaintiff. This was my sole provision before entering into the contract. Because of her failure to perform this vital function, I just learned from the opposing attorney that I have officially lost the case, and my pocketbook and reputation have both suffered as a direct result.
