Layering-one of our signature looks. In tablescaping, we love to mix it up a little, putting florals with stripes or solids or two different prints in the same color story together. What a great look when you use a contrasting runner to bring attention to the center of the table and the centerpiece!
Our beautiful accent cushions and cushion covers vary from colorful solids to floral prints. Some are delicately embroidered on one side, with one of our fabulous floral prints on the reverse. Others are trimmed with crochet lace or appliqued. The details on our cushions make them truly extraordinary, a wonderful addition to your living room, bedroom, study or kitchen.

Will never buy anything from your company again. Was given a tablecloth and matching napkins and placemats.,all washed in cold water with woolite and all dyes ran and fabric shrank. It can only mean that your materials are sources and made in China. Now have to donate them to a charity thrift shop so disgusted.

I paid $45 for 2 day shipping... it took almost two weeks to get my order. You also have to pay for return shipping to return the outrageously… expensive, poorly made clothing.
Then, when you try to leave reviews on the clothing online... April Cornell will not post anything that isn't a 5 star raving review. Most of their clothing doesn't have reviews for this reason.

Terrible customer service - cannot contact anyone by phone (answering machine kicks in with all calls & messages are not returned). No responses provided by email or Messanger either. I have yet to receive a refund for returned items & cannot contact anyone concerning this. I will never shop from this company again.

Very bad customer service. It took almost 3 full weeks for them to finally answer the 3 calls we left and we never got an email response to the 2 emails sent -- all about instructions for returning our purchase. We wanted to pay the return postage rather than leave it to them to deduct an amount over and above what it really cost, which we were… finally able to do. However, true to their NON-CUSTOMER FOCUSED perspective, they then deducted the $11.53 postage from our refund that it originally cost to send the package to us, and that we thought we had already paid upfront to receive it. Great experience shopping at April Cornell. I just came to VT for a few weeks this summer and came upon the summer Attic sale. Perfect time to shop. Lots of fun merchandise.
Sangita helped me with several dresses. The shop has sizes from xs to W2 and they also have a very close eye on inventory so they can see what is in the warehouse. I ended up with one dress and as I was leaving spotted another in the upstairs which would be perfect for a 95th b-day luncheon. Sangita found the very last one in my size. She knew the exact dress I was talking about just from my description and it too was on sale

My mom and I went to the April Cornell store. She was very happy she found dresses that fit and as a dog I was very happy I got a biscuit or two or maybe three. ; )
The manager Namgyal was very nice and has a fun sense of humor. My mom said that the ladies in the shop were all very sweet and kind.
As for me, I’m looking forward to more biscuits and maybe April will design something with me in mind. Happy Dog!

The basement outlet is still sort of pricey. The clothes are for plus sized women or stick figure women that just don't care if they look enormous. Some of the fabrics are just gorgeous, and then the blouse is tried on only to totally fail. The fits aren't flattering at all. And so I purchased linens for thanksgiving and Christmas, which I've also gotta say wasn't as much of a sale as they claimed, did not go upstairs...stayed in the basement sale room...

I visited the April Cornell store in Asheville NC and absolutely loved it. Shopping there was a delight as the store is aesthetically inviting. All her items were thoughtfully selected and nicely displayed. I fell in love with most items and struggled to narrow my choices to just a few. April’s son was running the shop and was very nice and extremely helpful. I purchased a table cloth and tea towels with the Beautiful Blooms pattern for a friend’s new home. I went in not knowing what to except. I understand all the pieces are a little out of my price range. But they had some great deals in the basement. I grabbed a shirt for 15 dollars and had nothing but compliments when wearing it. I liked the birds singing upstairs. Although I enjoyed my experience this place is tailored for a specific type of woman and I dont necessary feel like I fit in very well.

It's always a pleasure to shop at April Cornell! Beautiful fabrics, clothing, hats, linens, and gifts in a very charming shop. Large cage of colorful birds, rainbow colored stairs, bargains downstairs, and new paintings of butterflies, cats and flowers on the outside walls make this a great place to browse, take photos and buy April's gorgeous creations!
