Our Children's Place is the very finest learning center in Glastonbury, Conn., and one of the top in the state. We offer specialized infant care for babies, facilitated by a licensed nurse, whom provides guidance and health seminars to our entire staff. At Our Children's Place, certified teachers in early childhood education coordinate day-to-day development programs to promote cognitive, physical and social growth in our young ones.
We also offer the very best management and support staff, anxious to provide loving care and guidance while nurturing self-esteem and independence to our students. Every morning when we pull up to OCP our son gets so excited and has the biggest smile on his face. The staff are so good to him, they are organized, and they have great communication with parents. You can tell they really care about these children and their development. We are so happy that we picked Our Children's Place for our son!

So... I’m going to make this post so other people can be warned. Do NOT take your child to “Our Children’s Place” in Glastonbury, CT. If your child is already here, pull them out.
I am livid. I get there to pick him up, and he’s SCREAMING. They handed him this bottle, full of water. I said, “Well he doesn’t drink very well out of that type of nipple and he’s obviously starving or thirsty, I didn’t even know you guys had that one, where are his normal milk bottles?” They said, “I don’t know, he’s not our kid from our room.” So he’s just screaming so loud he’s that

I have had my 2 year old here since he was 1 and also currently have my 9 and 8 year old attending summer camp. They do an excellent job teaching and caring for my children. I could not ask for better staff. Their feedback is timely and helpful (they will call me regularly if something is up with my kids). The summer camp has been great. My 9 and 8 year old tell me this is their best summer yet.

We generally don't write reviews, but wanted to say how pleased we are with Our Children's Place. The staff continues to be organized, loving, caring and also focus on child development. We like how they blend the transitions between age groups and adjoining rooms. The play area is expansive (for little ones) and, if the weather is good, there is a plenty of outside time. We also appreciate their flexibility with respect to allowing some personal items (e.g., blanket). We couldn't be more happy with the staff and team and would recommend Our Children's Place!
