Detail Exchange llc is a design and build practice: a group of architectural and interior designers that work together with a conjoined construction division. We accommodate both commercial and residential clients in and around Philadelphia, as well as throughout Southern New Jersey. Likewise, we offer a full range of construction services, aimed at transforming our designs into a highly-polished, finished product.

Services
The artist is one who, upon perceiving and interpreting his context, begins to develop certain beliefs/philosophies. He then investigates, through various media, ways in which to express those ideas/philosophies with the collective. Detail Exchange is a group of artists who use architecture as their medium.
Alex Pekarick founded the design/build practice of Detail Exchange llc in 2003. He is an architectural designer with a Professional Degree of Architecture from Temple University. In addition, he is a master craftsman with over 15 years of experience working in all of the building trades: carpentry, welding, glazing, drywall, painting, etc.

My wife and I have lived in our home in center city Philadelphia since her grandmother died and we inherited the house 16 years ago. After we had children we began to exceed the spatial capacity of the building. Even though we absolutely loved the neighborhood and the home had sentimental value, we begrudgingly began thinking of moving and relocating somewhere else. Property values had shot through the roof in the past ten years and anything in our neighborhood that was big enough to meet our needs was priced over a million dollars. We were in a pickle. At this point we were even considering moving
