I had my mom at Elk Meadows in Oakley Utah. This was not a good experience , they were always understaffed. I came one night and they had one CNA on shift for the entire building as someone called in. The CNA's were great and tried really hard to do their job, but just could not get to everyone who needed help. I sat with my mom to see how long it would take to respond to calls, mostly it would be anywhere from 20 minutes to 2 hours or not at all. Oh and they never ever answer the phones at night which panicked me if I could not reach my mom. The year she was there they had 3 executive directors

Elk Meadows is an okay facility for those that are looking for a rural setting for their loved ones. Could use a facelift and probably better management running the place, but may be worth checking out to see if it meets your own criteria for an assisted living facility. For me, it's gone downhill in the recent past, but that's just one opinion and others may think differently.

The Activities Director, Makaila, is so fun and outgoing. She really makes a difference on a daily basis. I’ve never known an assisted living community to do so many fun things. This month, a group went out to visit Llamas on a farm. A few days later, horses came into the building to visit the residents. The Executive Director, Trent, is compassionate and you can tell he just wants the best for his residents. The location is lovely, the views out the lofted windows are beautiful. Peaceful and serenity, a good place to be...

My brothers and I are extremely happy with the care that our mother Nancy O'Connor is getting at elk meadows. She is not very outgoing or social and the staff go out of their way to accommodate anything she needs. The nurse on staff is very competent and professional. I give 5 stars because I don't have to stress about my mother's well beings

Visited my niece’s grandmother and her husband today. I have visited other facilities here and in California and I have to say what a great place. The facilities and staff were so welcoming and accommodating about our visit. The residents were all well attended to and smiling. If I needed a place to place a loved one, I’d surely make thus my first choice.

Elk Meadows is a beautiful sanctuary! I am impressed especially with their memory care unit. The quantity and quality of staff attending to the residents is incredible. Walking into the open area of the unit feels like a home, like a family. You really can’t even tell it’s a memory care unit. You have to see this place!

I am very satisfied with Elk Meadows and their care. They have shown excellent care to their patients. They have a wonderful staff and an activity director who interacts with the residents and plays games also. They have an Exercise program and special events such as bringing in horses and outings. Great medical care and a onsite RN who is excellent. Great physician support and the residents are seen by the physician monthly. I would refer Elk Meadows to all.

We had the most awful experience with the nurse and executive director at this facility. I would not wish our experience on anyone, especially other families that are dealing with the emotional stress of an aging loved one. They did not follow any of the legal protocols and 100% broke their own contract. The nurse was always abrasive, rude and over opinionated, not a way to treat families as they are dealing with a tough situation already. The nurse and executive director always gave us opposite report on what was going on and when we were forced to change facilities we found excessive bruising
