Not all chairs are created equal. Compared to chairs found at big box stores, Troutman Chair Co. offers more comfort through better design and greater quality through our handmade, shaker construction. People aren't built in 90angles and neither are our chairs. Our seats are designed to conform to you with a double scoop curve - one from front to back and another from side to side.
Oak logs are brought on-site from local loggers and then milled at Troutman Chair's own sawmill making us one of the last vertically integrated furniture manufacturers in the United States. The wood is cut to dimension, stacked, and dried. Due to the nature of construction, no glue is found in a Troutman product.
I am a rocker. Not of the musical genre, but rather of the rocking chair persuasion. I have a passion for rocking chairs. Their ability to relax me, the sense of nostalgia they bring and okay, I admit it, the way they look on my front porch.
