I've been going to Hh&m in Everett for a long time, they merged with solomons and now their prices are terrible for scrap copper.
Now of all times copper prices are sky high, I called a head of time get told copper Romex is $2.25 and up on the scale is weighs in just over 1000 lbs, I have several other solid copper items
Bare copper wire 35lbs (supposedly $3.70 per pound)
Copper busing from electrical panels and copper plumbing pipe 44lbs
And they give me $1050, not even close. Some please let me know if there are any honest people out there running scrap yards.
