I just refinanced with North Atlantic Mtg and my experience was a easy smooth transaction. At the beggining I was skeptical, how would it be to work with him without looking face to face, because everything was thru e-mail.

As a small business owner, it can be difficult to present your financials to a bank and have them understand the value of your assets and get approved for a mortgage; especially as a first time home buyer. John went to bat for me and was able to secure a competitive rate.
Less than one year later, mortgage rates dropped and John called me to let me know that I should refinance (talk about service). With less than $2,000 out of pocket for closing costs, John was able to put me in the same loan structure and lower my monthly payment by $1,100!

The knowledge that John has is amazing. After being rejected from re-financing my mortgage by two large banks, I decided to give John from North Atlantic Mortgage a call. He was extremely knowledgable and took the time to listen to my concerns. John spent an enormous amount of time reviewing my financials (at no cost to me) and gave me his opinion as to whether I would be able to re-finance my mortgage. John is incredible! Nice, knowledgeable, professional and tenacious. We had a horrible mortgage package from 2007: 100% financed, half mortgage, half line of credit, huge rates. We could not get refi by any… large bank. Not enough equity, too much debt, etc... Not only did John finally managed to refi, he patiently took my hand through mountains of paperwork, weeks of ups and downs and finally did it!
