Not a fan: I was here to drop off packages. Incoming packages are all over the floor and no one cares. The person worked there didn't care about a single thing. I won't be surprised if people lost packages or my packages got lost/ stolen/ undelivered. Won't trust this place at all. Super unprofessional. Avoid at all cost. Hope this place closes soon.

This is not my first mail-box service, but it is my favorite -- I've been getting my mail there for many years. The mail receiving services are very reliable, the staff is great -- very helpful and pleasant (I've never heard a rude word, and they put up uncomplainingly with my sense of humor), and the wood crates they construct to ship large objects are works of art themselves. And the address (200 East 10th) is kinda classy. I happily give 'em 5 stars.

This is a wonderful neighborhood spot that offers many much needed and appreciated services. The folks working here are always super friendly and helpful. Living nearby but not having a doorman, we provided United Shipping as the address for our wedding registries. We received hundreds of packages leading up to our wedding, and the folks at United were amazing. Not only do they pack and ship items (as the name implies), but they also sell packing supplies and stamps. You can even rent a box from them and receive packages for a low monthly rate.

If you need to ensure that you will get a package safely - you have a big package coming in, but a tiny mailbox, or something valuable - have your item in your name shipped here. $3.25 is a small fee to pay to keep your good secure! They also offer all kinds of boxes, envelopes and padding to ship darn near anything.

Amazing!!! I love these guys. Yes, they charge $3.25 to receive your packages but are we expecting them to provide service for free? This is a business not a charitable organization. I love them. I have never, ever lost any of the packages I continuously have them receive and have always been treated wonderfully.

United Shipping and Packaging has such a wide variety of services that I find myself coming here almost every week. Whether I need to ship a package, shred documents, or simply make a copy, I'm in and out in a matter of minutes. When I need to ship a package, it is worth my time every time to skip the lines at the post office. They'll tell you up front how much money it will cost to ship from their facility and how much it will cost to send from the post office. I've seen them tell people without hesitation the prices for both. It may be more expensive to ship from their facility

Great service, far more polite and personalized than bigger more corporate shipping places. Their prices are very reasonable, the person comparing them to the post office isn't clear about her complaints. Everyone knows UPS or Fedex cost more than the post office. We choose them for dependability.

Living in an East Village apartment on 9th street, I've considered myself lucky to be so close (right around the corner) from United Shipping and Packaging. Sending my packages there is easy and convenient, and there's no need to worry about signing or having to go to the UPS warehouse on Houston because you weren't there to receive a package.
