For more than thirty- four years, Mike Askew, of Askew Funeral and Cremation Services, has been dedicated to serving the families of the Roanoke Valley and South side of Virginia. We are locally owned and operated, and our well-trained and qualified staff are here to assist you through this most difficult time.

We provide an array of traditional services to personal memorial events from our 8,500 square foot, conveniently located and tastefully appointed facility. Our spacious chapel accommodates 200 guests and we have available two visitation rooms, an arrangement office, and separate family rooms that afford quiet meditation time for our guests.

When a loved one dies at home or in a place that isn't a healthcare facility, you'll need to contact emergency personnel before they can be taken into our care.If your loved one was under medical care, it's a good idea to call their physician as well. If your loved one dies in a healthcare facility, they will notify the proper authorities, including the funeral home you have chosen to care for your loved one if they know that information.

Our duty is to provide you and your family with professional and dignified assistance during your time of need, and we promise to support you in honoring your loved one for their dedication and selfless service.
