Yes it is legal to tint your car's windows in the state of Georgia. Georgia's O.C.G.A. § 40-8-73.1 statute says your vehicle's window tint cannot be darker than 32% on the side and rear windows of passenger vehicles with a plus or minus of 3%. For multi-purpose vehicles like SUVs, trucks or minivans you are only regulated to the front two doors to be 32%.

I have used them before where they responded to Yelp messages providing quotes. It seems now they have removed that option and they don't answer or return voicemail messages when you call. Disappointed because I needed to use them for another job. When I used them in the past their pricing was reasonable, they offered mobile service so they came out to my house to service my car, and their job was clean.

Amazing work as always! Have done 5 or so cars with TJ & Top Hat. I drive hours just to let TJ do the work. I don't trust anyone else because I know TJ & Top Hat will always do the best work with the best materials and the best warranty AND the best service.

After being referred to TJ, I scheduled an appt a week in advance to have tint installed. I received a text the day of my appt that there was availability to move up if I needed. Because I was working I did not see the text to respond, although I could not take an earlier appointment anyways. Unfortunately, TJ never showed up at all and took this as a sign to cancel my appointment. Pretty disappointed in the communication and overall lack of service.

Top Hat is superb. TJ and Jim are very professional and knowledgeable. They were on-time, courteous, quick and efficient and most importantly did a fantastic job on tinting my car. Their recommendations for Llumar CTX on sides and Llumar Air tints on front were spot on for what I was going for. The fact that they come to your house was a major bonus. I am extremely happy with the window tinting service that TJ provided my 2014 Ford Fiesta. I’ve been wanting to get this done for a while and now that I have, I just wish I would have done it sooner! Love having the privacy and shade inside that the tint offers and it definitely gave my car an overall newer look. TJ was able to make it a house call and had it done in about an hour!

I arrived a few minutes early & they were able to start working on my car right away. They completed tinting my car in about an hour. I had my windows tinted by TJ and I could not be more pleased. The quality of work performed coupled with a phenomenal customer service model sealed the deal for me. I unfortunately didn't go to him initially and ended up getting a botched job from another company. TJ came in and saved the day. He not only removed my existing tint but replaced and upgraded it - and did an excellent job. I would recommend him to anyone that needs tint. He's the best.

My experience was a good one. TJ did discuss with me about percentages and he did an excellent job! No bubbles or anything. I did want it darker and he was very accommodating with getting me back in and getting another layer placed on my car. I am very satisfied! Good price and great service! I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!!! I looked at 3 other places for window tint for my 2020 430i BMW COUPE BLACK . I FOUND TOP HAT TINTING. MY EXPERIENCE WAS EXCELLENT! The day of my install it was rainy and windy. Thomas arrived before my scheduled time he was very courteous and knowledgeable. He told me that due to weather conditions I could not have my tint done, he was so patient and lete call my mom and he travelled to my moms place. My tint is PERFECT!! ! ! THANK YOU THOMAS!! Excellent service! TJ made a home visit with no extra charge to tint my CAR using Llumar CTX tint and completed flawlessly in UNDER AN HOUR! I did want my tint to be super dark, but of course without taking chances of getting pulled over, I went with his recommendation to keep it legal and it looks great! Their pricing is unbeatable and the lowest local to Atlanta. I called about 6-7 places to quote prices too, including Glass Tiger which is down the street from me. Easy 5 stars. Used Yelp's quote system, Top Hat had very competitive pricing, among the lowest. What made me pull the trigger was the time listed in previous reviews. I got a quotes for 1.5-3.5 hours, didn't have that kind of time. TJ was in and out in 40 minutes! Truly excellent job, wanted to wait to see if any imperfections appeared, been 2 weeks and still looks excellent. I'd definitely use Top Hat again for another car.

Just got my Cadillac STS tinted by TJ and it looks amazing. TJ and his coworker did the whole car in under an hour. TJ was super professional and did a fast and high quality job. First off TJ is an Ace. He is welcoming and you know right away that you will be pleased with any service he offers. Just got tints for the first time in 10 years...could not have found a better place, situation or person. Took me in same day and car was ready to pick up within 3-4 hours!
