Meritrust was originally chartered in December of 1935 when employees from the Stearman Aircraft Company in Wichita collaborated and organized an employees credit union. In 1941, Boeing Aircraft Company bought Stearman Aircraft and in the process, our name was changed to Wichita Boeing Employees Credit Union to reflect the new company.
For many decades, we took pride in serving the local community and meeting the financial needs of the employees of the Boeing Aircraft Company and their families. In 1994, our Board of Directors made the decision to change our charter to allow us to serve everyone within our communities, in addition to Boeing Aircraft Company employees.

For some reason the staff at this location does not know how to communicate with each other, or they simply don't even care about customer service at all. My money was stuck in someone's vault for over a week. Made several trips up there to get it but since that employee wasn't working at the time I came up, and it was in their vault specifically, no one else could access it. Strange. Even when I was promised that they would talk to that employee and have my money out of there, when I came back the next time, it was still stuck in their vault. Don't say that you're going
