56 Year Old Female (V.W) admitted to Provi dence Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center after a 50+ day stay at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital with Admitting Diagnosis of Ischemic Bowel with History of Hepatitis C and Liver Cirrhosis. Patient Admits to Providence S/P Tracheostomy and Peg tube Placement wi th Abdominal Wound Requiring Wound Vac.

Hello,
I am currently a patient recovering from Frontal and Temporal Brain Surgery. I had 2 Subdural Hemotomas surgically removed——Brain Surgery. I was transferred to Providence Rehabilitation from Jefferson Hospital Neurosurgery in Center City Philadelphia, Pa. My care and rehabilitation has been extraordinary. The men and woman from each department consistently treat me with patience, compassion and kindness. I am writing this at the conclusion of my first week and I already feel like my daily care is what would come from friendship relationships more than just a professional patient relationship

I was incredibly pleased with the care my father received here before he passed away. The Providence team made sure he was well taken care of both physically and mentally during his last days. The entire staff was amazing and Amirah in Social Services was ESPECIALLY helpful through the entire process.

I was advised that it would in the best interest for my mother is to be placed in a rehab to help with walking. After reviewing 3 pages of rehab facilities this place seem to have the best ratings of positive results. My 85 year old mother was transported to this facility and as the days went one 5 days to be exactly everything went down hill. She received a bed sore which was down played as having sheets and blanket under her butt that was bothering her but after pushing the issue it was found it was a bed sore that was not there prior to the arrival to this facility because I bathed and dressed

My experience with this facility was stellar. Everyone from the receptionists to the doctors were very friendly and kind. My mother was admitted here after a hospital stay and really got the care that she deserved. She was barely able to stand when she arrived, but regained her strength while at this facility and is able to walk again. We were particularly impressed by Amirah, who was very patient, empathetic, and informative during my mother’s stay. She kept me up to date on everything that was going on with my mother, as I live 2 hours away and could not visit my mother as often as I would

My father was admitted to Providence Rehabilitation twice. I would like to express how the social worker Amirah Guerrero was always available and went the extra mile to make sure that the special circumstances surrounding my fathers needs were met. There was always clear communication and follow when task were completed. Her work ethic is one that speak volumes and she is true value to the Providence Community.

CNA Queen has sense of urgency in everything she does and has a refreshing attitude and smile everyday.
Nurse Tasha is very professional and is very compassionate as well.
Nurse James has a solid and sturdy demeanor and is very friendly. My experience here has been amazing and everyone here works so hard and they all do a fantastic job!

We were referred to Providence Rehab by a previous patient whom stated that they were returning back there once leaving the hospital for a 2nd time. Our family member has been treated very well since arrival. The staff has been professional and accommodating. The nurses have giving us daily updates when requested. The social worker administrator has been a real pleasure to work with for present needs and future necessities for home care. We are very APPRECIATIVE of her efforts. Also we are greeted well at the front desk when entering or leaving. Thank you
