These guys were more then helpfull with setting up a total newb with a set of tanks for some torches. Dont let the small shop fool ya. Its packed with seemingly endless knowledge, jammed pack full of great help and even more care for the end user. They Instantly without and pulling or pushing pulled me away from big name welding and gas stores for all my other needs. My hats off to these guys.

A fantastic welding supply shop. I went in to buy some welding gas and talked with the owner. He was super helpful and knowledgeable. He gave me suggestions on how to use my welder, flux core vs solid core and suggested I get solid core if I am welding with gas.
He also gave had good honest information about gas tanks. My experience here was fantastic and I would recommend new welders to check them out. They are even open Saturdays for those of us who work during standard business hours.

I can't say enough good things about Bill and Fred. They deliver, they know their tools, they never treat anyone like just a number and always ensure satisfaction. I'll go to metro welding over and over just to know my money is supporting good ethics with an old fashioned person to person experience.

I read a few of the “amazing” reviews for Metro. “Good enough,” I thought. “I’ll give them a try.” I’m a newbie welder. Well, that’s too generous. I wouldn’t call anything I’ve done to date actual welding. More like ruining perfectly good metal and burning argon. I was a bit intimidated and maybe a little embarrassed when I walked into Metro to buy some supplies. I’m just somebody who was curious about welding and wanted a new hobby. I didn’t really know what I needed if I’m honest. I got jumped right away. “How can I help you?” I explained that I was brand new.
