For me the two most important traits in a contractor are honesty and clear communication. With Red Oak Homes I got both. I had to leave the state for two extended periods during my bathroom renovation because of illness in my family. Johnny kept me informed every step of the way. When problems arose (it's an old house) he notified me right away and offered alternative solutions. We highly recommend Johnny of Red Oak Homes. He made sure our home was built exactly as we envisioned, ensured the use of high quality materials and workmanship and finished it earlier than we expected. He frequently sent pictures of progress and things requiring our decisions and would follow up with phones calls, texts and emails as needed. Johnny took our weekend cabin and turned it into our full time house. The project was a 1970s lake house remodel along with a large addition, not an easy project. Johnny worked endlessly through the entire project and turned it into our dream house. I would hire Johnny again for any building project we have and would recommend him to anyone looking to build new or update old.
