Services
Northgate Physical Therapy, P.C. is a PT owned outpatient physical therapy clinic in Monument, CO. We specialize in individualized physical therapy plans and preventative care, including both acute and chronic injuries, post surgical cases, sports and work related injuries, neck and back injuries, and motor vehicle accidents.
Manual therapy is a skilled, hands-on approach for the treatment of painful muscles, joints, and nerves. Our physical therapists have received their Manual Therapy Certification (MTC), which required written, oral, and practical examinations to demonstrate proficiency of both knowledge and application of skilled manual therapy techniques.
Nerves are thin elastic cords that run throughout our body and send signals between the brain and body. They make muscles move, tell us what we feel and whether certain movements or activities sometimes hurt. In addition to muscles and joints, we can move nerves to assess how they may be producing pain and loss of function with your problem.
Dry needling is a treatment technique used on painful or sore muscles and involves the insertion of a thin filament needle. Nothing is injected into the muscle itself, but the needle is inserted into an area of a muscle that contains a myofascial trigger point. A myofascial trigger point is an irritable area of a muscle that usually has a taut band of fibers that refers pain to other areas of the body or recreates your symptoms.
Blood flow restriction is a new and cutting-edge treatment that we are proud to offer at Northgate Physical Therapy, P.C. We are certified providers in Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) training. Blood Flow Restriction training is used for helping most patients and athletes enhance their performance and recover from injuries through improving strength and size of the muscle.

This is the place to get strong! The owner and associates have only one care, your health and getting you back to your life. The care I received allowed me to get back to my life. They also have what I would call a service dog witch is so sweet I would bring her organic treats. Love her. My Physical therapist was the best, caring and hard core. Love this place. Don't waste time, just go here to get better and bring Doggie snacks!

Northgate PT was my last try at getting some relief from chronic headaches, neck, shoulder, and back pain. I WISH I WOULD HAVE COME SOONER! In a matter of a few months, they have alleviated issues I’ve struggled with for years. So thankful that Ben took me on and helped me out of pain, along with Rebecca! I love the whole staff and I love that I feel like I’m an investment from the whole team. Meaning, I’ve heard them talk amongst themselves about treatment options and what’s best as a whole overall approach. Northgate’s office is about 40-45 min from me and I wouldn’t ever hesitate

I started as a patient with Northgate Physical Therapy last summer after moving to Colorado from the east coast. At that point, my activity level had been declining steadily since fall of 2019 when I developed tendinitis in my ankle during a half marathon training block. While I had already completed physical therapy for my ankle at a different clinic, it never felt right. I also had recently been diagnosed with mild hip impingement and was nursing a sore hamstring. I struggled to complete workouts (and day to day activities) without pain. In short, things were a mess, and I was discouraged.

The professionals at Northgate made me feel confident that I was getting the best treatment available. The therapists are extremely knowledgeable, compassionate and professional. Fawn is absolutely amazing. Going through her own shoulder injury has given her unique insight into these types of injuries and what it takes to heal from them. She is a great therapist and a wonderful person. I recommend Northgates services to anyone who wants to work with an incredible team who is dedicated to your recovery and well being.

Rebecca and her team of Ben and Fawn made PT for my complete knee replacement an awesome experience. Not only are they knowledgeable but I truly felt they shared my passion to rehab my knee to much better than it had been for a very long time. They offered and I accepted blood flow restriction therapy that made my knee stronger with less stress on the joint.
I strongly recommend them as they are a very friendly and highly effective team. Regards, Jerry T.

NorthGate PT is the best place I have ever been. They are extremely committed to getting you back to normal activity, extremely knowledgeable, and methodical, gentle, and personable. I have been under the care of Ben Saunders for the past year after severing my ACL in a skiing accident. This happened a few months after Shoulder surgery, So it has been quite a year for me. Even at my "venerable" age of 58, I'm happy to say my shoulder is back to 100% mobility and strength, and my knee has only a little ways to go! NorthGate PT is one of the few facilities that offer Neuro-Mobilization, Dry-Needling

I've had chronic lower back pain for about a decade and experienced pain in my feet while running. The amazing team at Northgate Physical Therapy provided incredible undivided time, attention, and compassionate expertise to my treatment and I'm now moving and feeling the best I have in a long time. Rebecca, Ben, Fawn, and Gracie truly care about their patients. They listened to my concerns, and evaluated my symptoms and progress; the care I received was in direct response to what I was experiencing and my goals. I can't recommend Northgate Physical Therapy highly enough.

I went to Northgate Physical Therapy after a knee replacement/revision. I went reluctantly, because previous experiences with physical therapists had conditioned me to expect a waste of my time and money. I was SO wrong! I benefited greatly from six weeks of PT at Northgate, and enjoyed my visits. I made great progress with their help. I recommend Northgate without reservation. Okay, maybe a tiny one! If you're allergic to dogs (which I am), make sure you let them know, because they have a therapy dog who is hilarious to watch, but it doesn't change the fact that she makes my eyes itch! They were
